Cooked seafood appetizer €25 (bruschetta with salmon and butter, bruschetta with anchovies and stracciatella, 7 fresh mussels, squid in white sauce, and classic octopus). Cover charge €3, water €3, small sea bream with potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and olives (baked) €25.
Normal portions, above-average prices. I recommend reading other users' negative reviews to learn how to deal with the staff. They aren't rude, but it's true that they're not clear and you need to ask specific questions and demand precise answers. The price and weight of the fish weren't clear. However, with these precautions, you can have a fairly peaceful lunch. The fish is definitely fresh and local (for the counter-service fish, you're allowed to choose from the ones displayed, as soon as they're delivered). First courses range from €16 to €25. €84 for a lunch, even if it's seafood, but with that quantity, isn't worth it. The appetizer included some very good dishes, but also dishes that were too simple to represent the price tag. Shoulders. The fish stall (€80/kg) suffers from the excessive price. Not a bad experience, but I recommend it for large groups (4 or more), to sample everything individually and to avoid spending too much, as other users have reported. An experience worth trying once for a treat.

Good evening, this year too, the restaurant has confirmed its position as one of the Bari dining institutions. The quality of the fish, both cooked and raw, is unquestionable, and the service is pleasant and attentive. Kudos to Gianni, a true Bari native.

The truth is that everything is very delicious and there are dishes that cost 25 euros and up, eating risotto with lobster, with white wine, be careful because the menu says for two and they end up charging you for 2 dishes, it is poorly explained...

I have had the pleasure of eating at the Pescatore roughly once every two to three years for about 15 years. First as a couple, and now as a family. I have never been disappointed: the quality of the food and service is among the best you will find. It's a classic where the locals eat and guests are greeted by name and shown to their regular table.
This year, Gianni was kind enough to serve us. He's a great guy: very attentive, funny, and full of good suggestions.

The restaurant specializes primarily in seafood. The food was excellent and the service very professional. From the outside, the place may seem modest or small, but the interior is surprisingly spacious—almost like a small labyrinth. Upon entering, you immediately notice the fresh fish on display, a testament to the attention to quality and freshness of the ingredients. The prices are higher than average, but fully justified by the freshness of the fish and the high quality of the cuisine.

Locale alle porte di Bari Vecchia, molto elegante (e costoso) ma con prodotti di primissima qualità.
Il banco del pescato del giorno è una vera delizia per gli occhi.
Personale capace che che sa anche guidarti sia sulle scelte gastronomiche, sia su quelle enologiche (nel caso in cui non si abbia voglia di leggere una carta dei vini di 41 pagine.
Benvenuto con la focaccia barese e poi via con antipasti crudi e cotti, ricottine prodotte da loro, u primo e un secondo.
Offerta di un piatto di carote ghiacciate come defatigante a fine pasto e limoncello offerto

Sono stata a cena con colleghi durante una trasferta a Bari e posso dire che la serata e" stata luci ed ombre . ottimo pesce,qualità alta freschezza garantita ma senza menù da scegliere , ha proposto il cameriere , ha esagerato con le bottiglie di vino rivelatesi poi da 35 euro l'una ,antipasti scarsi per la nostra tavolata di 16 , anche questi carissimi tra cotti e crudi . Conto esagerato per vino ed antipasti ,pasta con dentice ottima ma poi il dentice al forno si è rivelato un po' troppo cotto e poco saporito
Verdure grigliate misere, che abbiamo anche avanzato . Totale 95 euro a testa ,veramente troppo
