The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Since it's a very popular place on weekends, it's best to book a table. All in all, very positive.

Top really kind excellent pizza

On vacation in Rome, we were looking for a pizzeria within walking distance that didn't offer takeout, and this was the closest to where we were staying (about 10 minutes). The place was spacious and clean, the staff welcoming. The menu was varied, and the service was fast. The pizzas were excellent (typical Roman fina pizza, ordered with or without mozzarella), the focaccia was excellent, the fries were excellent, and the tomato bruschetta was indescribably delicious. The only flaw with the pizzas? My daughter would have liked a few more fries on hers (sausage and potatoes without mozzarella), but she ate the entire crust, so to say she enjoyed it is an understatement. My daughter also enjoyed the lemon sorbet, I enjoyed the crème brûlée, and the complimentary strawberry dessert at the end of the meal. There were five of us, and no one complained. In fact, it's a shame our vacation didn't last long, otherwise we would have happily returned for dinner.

Al Peperoncino was opened on Labor Day, and I was lucky to get in. The place is huge and bustling with regulars—it’s clear this is a classic joint beloved by the community. I was excited to try the Napoli since I wasn’t familiar with it, and it was delicious. The waiter, Ervis’s, genuine kindness made this traveler feel right at home. The great vibes and great hometown food won me over. Highly recommended.

Excellent for enjoying a wide range of well-made culinary offerings

Everything was delicious, the service and hospitality were excellent.

A truly large restaurant in the San Paolo area, run in an old-fashioned way. We went over the weekend: average supplì and good Roman pizzas. The wait times were adequate for the number of people. I would improve the service management a bit: in our case, the waiters would often pass by saying "I'm coming," and when they finally stopped by, they rushed us to take our order. This is understandable given the crowds. Overall, a good experience, I recommend it.
