Here, tomato-based dishes + pasta were all so delicious.. Koreans would like the taste.. Korean pasta tastes really good… 🙂↕️ All the food I ate in Italy was greasy and salty and I could eat it halfway through, but here, I even ordered extra and ate everything. I don’t recommend shellfish because it doesn’t cook well.

We were actually going to have dinner at another establishment down the street, but it was closed. So we gave this quaint restaurant a shot. It's been at this location over 200 years. We had the fish soup, which was excellent. Never had a better fish soup. We also had the seafood risotto, which turned out be fabulous.

We had a great time at this historic restaurant. The owner welcomed us with a warm welcome, and we had the entire room to ourselves. We tried the bigoli in salsa, Venetian-style liver, and creamed cod, a tribute to traditional dishes, and were pleased with the flavor and quantity. The Fork discount was good. The owner kindly explained the origin of the restaurant's name.

Food is ok. I tried the sardines in Saor and they were good. So it was the baccala mantecato with polenta. Then we tried polenta with shrimps but it was pretty boring. And it was far a too big portion for an appetiser. The fettuccine with pistacho pesto was too strong in flavour. The fried fish was not crispy. So, all in all it was ok bit definitely overpriced for the quality. Service was good.

I entered this restaurant because the name intrigued me. I found it to be a warm and lively place because a friend of the owner told me it's a historic establishment that opened in 1740 and is still going strong. There were four of us, and I must say we were thrilled with the food and service. The bill was also perfectly in line with what we ate, since we all ate fish. I highly recommend it. The owner is a delightful and very kind person. His assistant is professional and very kind, with the way he interacts with guests.
I think I'll definitely be returning very soon, work commitments permitting.
