We tried the Toro menu, which was truly remarkable. It was carefully designed to offer variety and leave you satisfied. Honestly, it makes me want to come back! Excellent pizza, excellent meat. Well done everyone.

We stopped for lunch and arrived just before closing time. The guys were very kind and I have to say the steak was very good :) We'll definitely be back again sooner rather than later.

I believe Il Padellone is one of the best steakhouses in Bovisa and the surrounding area. When I'm craving delicious steak or a nice slice of pizza, I book here right away! Super welcoming atmosphere, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Excellent quality meat, various cuts to suit every taste. Soft and richly topped pizza by the slice (there's so much to choose from). A rich option for a little bit of everything is the Menù del Toro, which includes various hot and cold appetizers, a slice of Margherita pizza, a mixed grill with various vegetable sides, and a dessert of your choice. I've never been disappointed by the excellent quality of the products offered at this restaurant. If you're passing through Bovisa, I absolutely recommend booking in advance and enjoying a dinner here with excellent value.

We had dinner last night and had a wonderful time. The focaccia served as an entrée is simply fabulous; you could eat it forever. For starters, we chose a tartare and a Black Angus carpaccio that melted in your mouth. To finish, a 1.3 kg Florentine steak cooked to perfection: so tender, almost like butter. We'll definitely be back. The waiters were kind and friendly, the owners were equally so, and the price was more than fair. Well done!

08/12/2025: Dinner a few weeks ago with friends. I chose the classic: risotto with ossobuco. The risotto was perfectly cooked, but unfortunately the meat was a bit tough and sinewy. I've had better.
18/11/2025: I've been going to this restaurant with my wife and friends for years now. It's a family-friendly place, thanks to the kindness and helpfulness of Ornella and her husband Carlo. All the dishes are delicious, the risottos are exceptional (the one with red onion and crescenza is sublime), and the homemade desserts are delicious. Definitely recommended to anyone who wants to eat well without spending a lot.

Antica Osteria Civesio

20/02/2026: After a year of regular patronage and promoting the restaurant to numerous colleagues, Osteria di Civesio has lost a loyal customer. Actually, two or more. I found the manager's welcome completely inadequate: arguing over a diner's slightly late arrival, as announced, with inappropriate comments about closing time and the need to rotate tables—despite the dining room being half-empty—is unacceptable. Because of this attitude, the third guest chose not to eat and will no longer frequent the restaurant, where he had previously brought his family, again at my suggestion. I felt deeply embarrassed in front of the colleague to whom I had warmly recommended the place. Unfortunately, this isn't the first instance of poor courtesy and unnecessary remarks about punctuality I've received during the reservation process. Professionalism is measured by respect for the regular customer: chapter closed. This was clearly the manager's wish, perhaps stemming from when I asked to change a table near the bathroom window due to the unpleasant odors emanating from it.
08/02/2026: Old-fashioned trattoria, really good dishes and rather generous portions, the house wine is really good but then it makes itself felt
