Good paella. Chaotic service. Friendly staff, but mess everywhere.

We came across Casa Fernandez on Friday evening, after having spotted their paella several times during various trips to Garda… and finally decided to try it! We booked a couple of hours in advance (the paella is on request — it is highly recommended to book in advance also because the restaurant has few seats and fills up quickly). The restaurant is located in a charming street in the center, a few minutes from the lakefront. The atmosphere is simple and authentic, perfect for a relaxing dinner. We chose the traditional Valencian paella: a large portion and really tasty (the photos speak for themselves - “Clean plates don’t lie”). We accompanied it all with half a liter of sangria and still water, spending about 25 euros each, an excellent quality-price ratio. One detail that we really appreciated: the owners speak Spanish among themselves, which adds a nice touch of authenticity — I imagine they are originally from Spain. In short: excellent dinner. We will definitely be back!

Best tagliatelle we have had 1x with Porcini Mushrooms the other courgettes pesto & aubergine. Was eaten too quickly for a photo sorry but a reflection of how good it was!

Excellent spanish restaurant managed by real spanish people, i recommend the paella (it must be reserved beforehand) which is some of the best paella I have ever eaten. I also recommend the sangria which is very good. The furniture and the music really make you feel like you're in Spain.

A delicious paella! It is impossible not to clean the pan even though it is served with such a quantity that you can also have seconds! The place is not very big so I recommend booking, there is also the possibility of eating outside, courteous and very empathetic staff. Being in the center in the pedestrian area you have to take into account the walk to get there, but given the beauty of the place it is willingly done. I have been there other times and they have never disappointed me! WELL DONE!

Amazing, the nicest place for a meal in Garda. The food is absolutely amazing, the owner is extremely helpful, kind, courteous, he can’t do enough to help even gave us the best advice on days out. Next time we visit Garda we will be definitely be going to Casa Fernandez

Fantastic service and great selection on the menu. Highly would recommend the paella, the portions were extremely generous, all the ingredients tasted fresh and it's amazing value for money. I was told it was a 40+ year recipe and I can believe it, if you visit you must give it a try!

Scelto a caso per cena fronte lago, accolti e fatti accomodare al tavolo con un flute di prosecco gentilmente offerto. cibo ottimo di prima qualità , degustazione di formaggi, a seguire un ottimo secondo di pesce, involtino di Lavarello, squisito, tutto di prima scelta. serviti dal gentilissimo cameriere di nome Antonio , poi abbiamo parlato di vera pizza napoletana, con forno a legna, mi sono ingolosito e la sera successiva sono ritornato per la pizza, era da tempo che non mangiavo una vera pizza napoletana , fatta a regola d'arte squisita. Ringrazio il proprietario che ho avuto modo conoscere, Antonio e tutto lo staff per la loro gentilezza e professionalità
