11/06/2025: We arrivedbybus from Como and the place was humming We ordered toasted cheese sandwiches from a ser er who, apparently,was never thought to smile! The toasts were fine and the owners.easa t. When you wife paid she commented to him about the servers lack of customer relations to which he replied it was a hard job. We worked in a full hotel dining room but knew the customer came first!
09/06/2025: Het is op zich ok, service is niet zoals je gewend bent in Italië. Misschien omdat er gewoon te veel toeristen komen 😇. Je betaald de hoofdprijs en de taarten zijn ok.

IL VECCHIO BORGO

23/11/2025: I stayed in room 106 for two nights. The hotel was excellent and clean, the room was clean, and the staff, Mahmoud (Egyptian) and Suzi (Tunisian), were friendly, courteous, and hospitable. The breakfast was wonderful. It's conveniently located near the city center, overlooks the lake, and is next to the metro and bus stations, and opposite a Carrefour supermarket.
