Discovered this restaurant by chance on my way back from Perugia. Everything was delicious. Authentic cuisine. Excellent for a pleasant, relaxing, and simple lunch. The dessert was also excellent. The service is their great added value. Simona, affable and very friendly, really makes the difference. Congratulations, we'll be back...even with friends 👏

Al Leone never fails! Outstanding, country-style food and top notch pizza give you a wide choice of authentic, flawlessly executed options. The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. Overall, excellent price to quality ratio, and we'll worth the drive to a rather remote village on the hills. We go there every time we are in or around Perugia...

A simple, unpretentious restaurant. We had pizzas, and they were very good. I recommend it, at least for the pizza.

Diamond in the Umbria! Amazing pizza disguises this local haunt from tourists. We had the best time and came back for dinner twice. If you are within driving distance you must visit and the sunset over the hills is another highlight.

The last time I was there I found some really interesting, unique and delicious dishes.

We entered and were immediately greeted with great kindness by the waitress, who made us feel right at home. As a welcome, we were offered warm focaccia and a glass of prosecco: a simple but much-appreciated gesture. The food was truly delicious. We started with an appetizer of baked pecorino cheese with truffle and an excellent tartare. This was followed by homemade tagliatelle with Cinta Senese white ragù and strangozzi cacio e pepe with truffle shavings: rich, tasty, and meticulously prepared dishes. The extensive wine list is also very interesting, and the Umbrian wine recommendation we received exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant: the staff is young, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the place is very welcoming. When we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back!
