Esperienza al di sotto delle aspettative....siamo stai a pranzo in questo bel locale e le nostre aspettative sono state disattese...abbiamo preso delle buone cozze come antipasto ma gli spaghetti alle vongole erano sciapissimi, lo abbiamo fatto presente al cameriere che invece di scusarsi, come si conviene, ha detto che sarebbe andato a verificare in cucina (ovviamente non è tornato). Abbiamo infine preso il caffè che era pessimo, oltre al fatto che alcuni erano molto lunghi, un brodo.... Quando siamo andati in cassa invece di chiedere come eravamo stati hanno storto il naso per il fatto che avremmo pagato tutti con la carta....Locale bello ma poca attenzione al cliente....eravamo andati per provare per poi organizzare una cena di lavoro ma purtroppo non siamo rimasti soddisfatti.

We were looking forward to a pleasant evening of fine dining at Grappolo D'Oro. Our first impression was just as positive. Unfortunately, the appetizer wasn't confirmed. My wife's appetizer wasn't available after ordering (for an appetizer on the regular menu and in that price range, I expect the waiter to know this when ordering). My appetizer, Salmone Affumicato for €16, consisted of four slices of smoked salmon sprinkled with a little arugula. My Filleto di Manzo was about 0.5 cm thick. The asparagus I ordered with it was well-cooked. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the dinner. We were charged for a focaccia we hadn't ordered in advance; the salmon, without any further preparation or finesse, wasn't worth €16. The website depicts a completely different Filetto di Manzo, and my wife's Risotto al Tartuffo didn't have a single slice of truffle to be seen. I'm not trying to speak ill of the restaurant, but I do want to use my review to make other connoisseurs of good Italian cuisine aware of the quality to be expected. Our bill for two starters and two main courses, with a (fairly priced) bottle of Nebbiolo, came to €123. I wouldn't visit the restaurant again, nor would I recommend it.
I usually take photos of beautifully presented plates, but for the reasons mentioned above, I decided not to do so here.

Sono capitata in questo ristorante per caso una sera in cui ero a Roma da sola per lavoro. Devo dire che ho mangiato davvero bene! La scelta è ampia: io ho mangiato del vitello con patate arrosto e cicoria ripassata. Pane buonissimo e un buon bicchiere di rosso. Persino l’ananas che mi sono concessa per chiudere la cena era squisito! Non economico ma in linea con i prezzi di Roma. Menzione speciale per il servizio: accogliente e molto gradevole. Raccomandato.

Dinner with friends. It was nice to discover this restaurant, finally spaced tables, quiet environment with traditional dishes but with that innovation that makes the difference

The carbonara here was amazing, the best I've ever had (first pasta I ate in Rome). My friend's pasta all'amatriciana was also very good. Our waitress was quite a funny personality and made us laugh. However, the bread and focaccia were dry. Also, no oil or butter was served with them, which was a little strange.

As a local, I can confidently say this is some of the best food in Rome! The carbonara and clam pasta were incredible—especially coming from a skeptical Sicilian. Plus, the people working there are so warm and welcoming. Truly a gem. 🥹
