We stayed for about 7 days in Rome and really struggled in finding a good and nice place to eat without any hidden fees or any waiter trying to get you more bread to charge, but Al Forno della Soffitta was extremely great.
The waiters were very friendly and accomodating with foreigners, they loved helping you pair your food with wine and the service overall was great. We only had pasta and pizza from this place because they were that good, but I saw they have some nice lunch menus that are available if you request them.
We ate here 3 times and would have gone there more if we found it sooner.
A place we had near our apartment. Everything was delicious and the service was great. You should go early or make a reservation; it gets packed.

We were looking for a place to try Neapolitan-style pizza, and it definitely lived up to our expectations.
The staff was impeccable, friendly at all times, and the service was fast.
If I return to Rome, I'll definitely be back. As a treat, we ordered the pizza of the month with burrata and pistachio and the Heavy.

We were wary from traveling to Rome all the way from Lake Garda- we found this place after the first restaurant we tried was closed. Unfortunately we had no reservations and they were full-they still found us a table and let us enjoy their amazing Roman food! We enjoyed the bread, Supli, the prosciutto ham and melon, margherita pizza, Cacio and pepe pasta, pasta carbonara, children’s pasta, tiramisu, and an after dinner watermelon plate. Our waiter really cared about us as he saw us walk in pretty tired and did everything he could to help us feed our family of 5! Grazie Mille-we will be back!!!

Here we are! è la pizzeria che si traduce in sicurezza in quelle serate nelle quali non sai dove andare. Mantiene alti standard della pizza - un po' piccola, non a ruota di carro - con ottimi ingredienti. Talvolta da rivedere l'impasto e qualche bruciatura, ma talvolta. Prezzo nella media, non esagerato. Usato sicuro.

En face de l'hôtel Gambrînus , bien pratique après une dizaine de kms dans la journée !
