Excellent. The owners are helpful and courteous. They found us a table even though we hadn't booked. The set menu was very affordable. We ate very well.

We come to Aosta every year, and Aldente is a restaurant where we go at least once. Everything is consistently delicious,l. A special mention goes to the chocolate fondant: it is absolutely fantastic and a must-order. In fact, it is one of the main reasons our children always ask to come back! That said, it’s not just about the dessert. Everything on the menu is excellent. Thank you for another wonderful experience. We look forward to coming back again next year.

A very well-maintained restaurant, both in terms of its ambiance and its cuisine. The dishes were excellent and prepared with great care. Convenient location in Aosta town and excellent service. Recommended.

We stopped out of curiosity, we did very well....there were 4 of us, we ate very well and it was super good🤩....I ate the fassona😍....the place was beautiful, the service excellent, with so much kindness and courtesy with a nice smile,💯🤩....merci beaucoup🥂

Given the speed of our needs and the location, we opted for a convenient, central option. As it turned out, we had a delightful evening at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we weren't terribly hungry, which prevented us from fully enjoying the restaurant's menu. Given the situation, we ordered excellent house appetizers that satisfied us in every way. I personally ordered a mixed house cold cuts platter, paired with cheeses and their sauces, as well as the sacred honey. My companion, on the other hand, opted for an excellent hand-chopped beef tartare, all rigorously accompanied by an egg and radishes that acted as satellites. The dishes fully met our every expectation. The dinner was accompanied by a glass of wine served by the extremely knowledgeable and kind host. A simple bottle of still water helped break up the meal. Coffee helped us quickly leave. An experience that will definitely be repeated and explored further.

We had lots of good food here and amazing service. The only thing that bothered me was cigarette smell in the air. I couldn’t understand where it was coming from but it was in the air the whole time (indoors)

02/03/2026: This little trattoria is a gem, away from the tourist bustle, but only a 10-minute walk from Aosta's main square. The menu is small and thoughtful, with perfectly-executed dishes that change seasonally, and a deep and interesting wine list. It's also a great value, with prices that are considerably less than other parts of the town, for better quality. Call for a booking, as the charming but small space fills up quickly.

24/01/2026: We ate quite well, but unfortunately we found the portions a bit small. The dessert wasn't particularly special. The wine was excellent.
30/12/2025: A small, very welcoming restaurant with a wooden interior. There aren't many seats, so it's always a good idea to reserve a table. We went here for lunch and it was a great experience. We had a mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses (all very good, especially the goat's blue cheese and the lard 🤤), while our friends had a tartare with a bagna cauda sauce, which was amazing. We then had beef ribeye and a Valdostana steak (not breaded). There are also different off-menu options every day. To finish, apple strudel with cinnamon ice cream and a pear bun with mulled wine. Everything was absolutely delicious!!
