I'm writing both for the Locanda, where we stayed in a suite 😀 with a lovely atmosphere and a hot tub, and for the restaurant, where we dined, enjoying an excellent selection of local Valtellina dishes and flavors. We were pampered by all the staff, but special mention goes to Davide, who was very attentive and hospitable. We hope to see you again soon! Exceptional value for money.

Excellent restaurant; we enjoyed excellent Valtellina cuisine. The service was excellent, and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms, breakfast, and staff were also excellent. If you need to stay overnight or just eat and savor excellent cuisine, stop by.

I chose the Valtellina menu. Everything was superb: bresaola, pizzoccheri, and tzigoiner. It's a shame about the cover charge, which isn't usually added to menus. Not even in Paris, in my experience.

05/03/2026: For a typical Valtellina dinner with friends from Milan, we chose Ristorante San Carlo, known for its impressive cellar, which also houses a collection of Valtellina Nebbiolo bottles. Despite the steep prices and somewhat limited portions of the dishes, such as the antipasto, sciatt, and taroz, the quality and sophistication of the dishes met our expectations. We also greatly appreciated the kindness and friendliness of the staff, who greeted us from the moment we entered and welcomed us into their restaurant.
