Al Convento In Cetara

EXCELLENT FOOD. FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING STAFF. FRESH FISH. COMPLIMENTS TO THE STAFF

Mancavo da due o tre anni. Ho trovato un locale rinnovato ma anche - purtroppo lo devo dire - appena entrato, un cattivo odore come di bagni malfunzionanti. I prezzi sono molto lievitati rispetto ad un paio di anni fa...sorattutto quelli delle pietanze di pesce. Onestamente buona la genovese di tonno e anche con una buona quantitá di tonno e di pasta solo che ...praticamente... senza sale. Buono anche il tentacolo di polpo grigliato ma di dimensioni ridotte e con un prezzo se non erro di 15 o 18 euro. Un mezzo calice di vino bianco 7 euro Dunque, due genovesi, un tentacolo un'acqua ed un calice di vino 70 euro dopo aver aspettato mezz'ora per il polpo e - dopo- 45 minuti per i primi. Il tutto rinunciando al baccalá ordinato (altrimenti avremmo fatto tardi ad un appuntamento), ma soprattutto sopportando il cattivo odore che c'era nella sala.

This restaurant wasn’t our first choice, but somehow all other restaurants were either booked out, ran out of certain fishes, or were not appealing. I had a simple dish. I was specifically wanting to try the fried anchovies that evening! The service was very nice and it made our evening.

Al convento is definitely a restaurant where you must stop during your stay on the coast. Kind and thoughtful brigade, fresh and sustainable raw material. I recommend the Catalan lobster, delicious!

I eat the best spaghetti with anchovy sauce I've ever tasted. In the suggestive Cetarian scenery, we have the privilege of exciting conversations with the owner Mr. Torrent With which we can express our emotion for a cuisine of choice and unrepeatable sensations. Temple of taste and a dive into history for an experience that is repeated over the years with unchanged admiration.

Ristorante in centro a Cetara, locale curato e accogliente. Servizio attento. Noi abbiamo provato gli antipasti a base di alici (pane, pomodoro e alici e pane, burro e alici) e gli spaghetti con la famosa colatura di alici di Cetara e siamo rimasti soddisfatti.
