Beautiful location, really good food and very competitive prices, truly excellent service, tried several times, never encountered any problems, one of the few good restaurants in Gorizia at the moment.

We were at the Cloister on a gloomy spring day without being able to use the outdoor space under the porticoes of the square, the interior is small but still comfortable. The staff were very friendly and kind and the food was very good: the tartare was very tasty and the octopus with burrata and tomatoes was delicate, both very good. The pasta with ricotta and cherry tomatoes was very good, the cherry tomatoes gave that perfect flavor note and the cuttlefish were also very good. The desserts were quite good, a chocolate mousse with vanilla and nuts and tiramisu. Overall a nice place in a great location with good service!

Very good experience! :-) It's the first time I've eaten outdoors this year and I'm enjoying the sun, new light, spring and top food 🔝 All accompanied by an excellent Friulian. Few choices on the menu but well calibrated: I went between vegetarian and fish. All very good. Compliments

Posto molto accogliente, personale simpatico. Piatti preparati con cura sia nella presentazione che nella scelta dei prodotti. Ampia scelta di vini. Sicuramente ci torneremo.

La Tavernetta al Castello di Spessa

06/05/2025: La location e’ in posizione mozzafiato tra il verde e il castello facilmente raggiungibile. Il ristorante non e’ molto curato, anche se si e’ in campagna i ragni enormi sulle finestre impolverate potevano essere rimossi, una sala da pranzo ,accessibile attraverso un arco, con un tavolo enorme non apparecchiato ma lasciato li, abbandonato con una tovaglia e sedie accatastate. Pochi tavoli ma servizio lentissimo. Menu’ molto ridotto, almeno a pasquetta potevano offrire qualcosa in piu. Da rivedere
01/04/2025: Durante il soggiorno al meraviglioso Castello di Spessa vicino a Gorizia, abbiamo cenato sabato sera presso il ristorante La Tavernetta sito all'inteno della proprieta' del castello. Abbiamo cenato con una loro proposta accompagnata da calici di vino della tenuta del castello, un ottima cena. Consigliato
