I ended up here by chance with my family on a cold January 1st, when there weren't many places open in Gorizia. The restaurant, located in a very pretty square, was packed, so we had to eat outside. The staff was very friendly and initially served us quickly, but while the food was really good, the portions of the starters were quite small for the price. We ended up settling for the starters, partly because it was cold and no one else was coming. We paid and left. Overall, not a great experience.

Good food quality and friendly service. Prices are high for this type of establishment (paper napkins and faux leather placemats in a rather bland and informal interior). The price was in line with the expectations listed on the menu, but a negative note is the price of the wine (local, recommended by the waiter), which was far too high and not communicated in advance. It's a shame, I was hoping for better overall.

23/09/2025: One of the best Italian restaurant around here. Staffs are not that super kind to tourists, but kind. Anyway their tastes so so good. I will definitely visit here again. It will be nice if you come here with Italian company. Procioutto, ragu lasagna with chocolate brownie is the best course I love.
