We spent New Year's Eve 2026 at Casato and had a wonderful time. Each dish was an artistic creation and an explosion of flavors, made with high-quality ingredients, especially considering the seafood (including raw oysters). The service was impeccable and the staff extremely friendly. Excellent value for money. The location is modern and meticulously maintained. Highly recommended.

A restaurant just steps from Piazza del Campo, offering a generous portion of food, excellent hospitality, and professional service. We chose a delicious platter of cured meats and cheeses while waiting for our main course, all freshly prepared. Everything was truly delicious and tasty. We appreciated the helpfulness and kindness of the lady serving us, who interacted with us in a very friendly manner.

Exactly what I needed 50 m from the crowd: pici aglio e olio, a glass of Chianti and homemade bread from chef. Service was kind, discreet and helpful. I do recommend this spot!

Discovered too late... if you're passing through Siena, before venturing into one of the many restaurants/osterias around Piazza del Campo, stop by Casato. Excellent quality!!!

Excellent food, a refined atmosphere, and carefully prepared dishes; the staff offer excellent service. A special thanks to the owner, who passionately engaged us with his stories, making us understand how important belonging to the Contrada is for Sienese people.
