Very spartan, the style is of questionable taste, although the location would lend itself to it. Benches without backrests, long wooden tables that you have to share. If you like it, fine, if not, it's the same. The food we tried was good, but without exaggerating the portions. Prices were below average.

5 stars!
There's a wide selection of red and white wines.
The cuisine is very rustic and tasty (I recommend the "tagliatelle ai funghi" dish).
The atmosphere and bathroom are very clean.

This place was recommended to us by our landlord – it's okay, but not a must-visit. A quaint pub with a beer garden feel – hard benches with a medieval charm.
The staff was friendly. Mamma's tiramisu was molto perfetto 👌🏼. The menu was very small, the pasta dishes lacked flavor, and the duck pasta was unfortunately very bland.
The prices were very reasonable, and the first courses were served as such.

Walls that tell stories from the 14th century. 🍷 Osteria Carro Armato remains one of the few places in Verona that has stood the test of time, maintaining its medieval charm intact. An atmosphere you can't buy, traditional cuisine, and a carefully selected wine list for all budgets.
A piece of history that has fortunately remained unchanged.

During my stay in Verona I had the pleasure of having dinner at the Osteria al Carroarmato, a place that perfectly embodies the spirit of the Veronese tavern. Located in a charming alley of the historic center, this tavern is a small hidden gem, with a warm and authentic atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home.
The menu offers traditional Venetian dishes prepared with care and quality ingredients. I tasted the homemade tagliatelle with duck ragout: simply delicious. Even the pumpkin ravioli and the polenta with mushrooms were excellent, tasty and well balanced. To conclude, an artisanal tiramisu that alone is worth a visit.
The wine list is well stocked, with a curated selection of local labels. The staff was friendly and attentive, ready to recommend both the dishes and the combinations with the wine. The service was fast but never hasty, perfect for enjoying the evening calmly.
The prices are absolutely fair for the quality offered, and the rustic but well-kept environment makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tavern to anyone who wants to live an authentic Veronese gastronomic experience away from the most crowded tourist circuits.

Good food, but the quantities are very limited for the price. The pumpkin ravioli with amaretti biscuits are a definite winner! The atmosphere is nice, with shared tables and friendly staff.
