We truly enjoyed the evening. The appetizers are outstanding. Since we love dessert, we recommend the panna cotta with pickled grapes ;-).

We happened to be in Bardolino on a very rainy day. We took refuge for lunch at the first place with parking we found online to avoid walking far in the pouring rain since we didn't have umbrellas. We found a delicious place, with authentic cuisine and carefully prepared local dishes. I had the tagliolini with duck and orange ragù, and he had the tagliolini with truffle: excellent! We then shared the meat main course with amazing baked potatoes. I highly recommend it!

The homemade pasta is incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. The seating is very pleasant in a courtyard with an almost family-like atmosphere. The restaurant is a pleasant respite from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

We arrived at 9:40 PM in a hurry, but they still welcomed us very kindly. The staff was smiling and very helpful! We had a slice of beef steak, which was truly excellent! The price was fair. Highly recommended!

For us, this is Italian food as I imagine it (it's also frequented by locals). The service is simply excellent and in German, which makes it much easier. (The menu was explained because of the desserts) and the ambiance was very nice for us, so I can only give it 5 🌟. I'd love to come back. We had the full menu planned: main course and dessert with wine.

04/03/2026: I've traveled to several Italian cities, and this was the best place I've ever been. It's not touristy, the staff is attentive, and the food is excellent. Beautiful decor, thank you!
04/03/2026: Excellent service and excellent food. The Torcolo appetizer was sublime, as was the lamb. The desserts deserve a revisit. We'll definitely be back!

Ristorante al Gondoliere

02/11/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance and luckily given the ambiance. Excellent food and very friendly father and son owners. I will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel at home. Well done!
