In the backstreets away from the main tourist areas. We visited for lunch on Republic day and it was very busy. The brothers who run this place were single handed and rushing about. As service was a bit slow the brothers enlivened the mood by neighing like donkeys and making various announcements which elicited applause from the mainly Italian clientele. When it came the food was delicious (we had salumi and some excellent pizzas). Others have commented on the chilli oil and I was given crushed chilli to take away. I wouldn’t hesitate to return - for the food yes and in the hope of more theatre…

A small restaurant in the streets of Urbino's historic center. The owners are kind and very friendly. Excellent food. We waited just long enough, especially since the place was packed. Reasonable prices. Well done.

It is not a tourist place, being off the busy piazza, and you can tell there are locals who come here often. But the hosts are super-friendly and made us feel at ease. The pork cacciatore was fantastic, and he offered home-grown (hot!!) chilis to spice it up. The pizza was solid. Good value.

Highly recommended!!! Seven of us showed up after visiting G.N. without a reservation, but the owner welcomed us immediately, organizing the small dining room (about 35 seats) to accommodate us in the best possible way. Speaking as a restaurant professional, I really appreciated the service: quality despite the limited staff. The two brothers, who are also the owners, managed about 30 seats flawlessly on their own. The food was good, typical of a trattoria, without too many frills but well-made. Be aware that, given the limited staff, wait times can be a bit longer, but that's still part of the atmosphere and authenticity of the place. Recommended for sampling typical local dishes!

16/07/2026: My partner and I were there this evening and took advantage of the truffle menu. What can I say? Everything was perfect, top-quality, absolutely delicious. Luca and Eleonora were incredibly friendly and made us feel immediately at home and comfortable. Everything arrived on time, and we wanted to take our time to enjoy the tranquility and relaxation that the place and the atmosphere conveyed. There's nothing more to say, everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back to try the all-you-can-eat meat and pasta menu, as well as the off-menu options.

26/05/2026: We went for dinner on a Monday and had a fries to share, followed by three pizzas. Mine was a little too thin for my taste, but still good. The dessert was good. The only problem was the small table; there were three of us, and they gave us a table for two.
16/05/2026: The meat was excellent; we ordered the Florentine menu, which included a 1.2-1.4kg Florentine steak with fillet, a generous portion of grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, and radicchio, all accompanied by two glasses of red wine. Recommended for those looking for a quiet place to spend an evening with a partner, a group, or a family, with excellent value (in our case, €60 for two). The menu also includes pizza and fish, which have always received positive reviews.
