Very cute little restaurant. We found this place with a gift box. We were greeted very warmly, which is not always the case with a gift box. They explained all the dishes to us impeccably, as was the service. Excellent food, all fresh. The cutlet is their strong point. We will definitely be back, even without the gift box.

I only found out about this place through Smartbox, a small but welcoming location. Helpful and very kind staff. Recommended dish: zucchini rolls.

The AL CANTUCCIO restaurant is a little bigger than a living room, it has about 10/12 tables, hence the name AL CANTUCCIO: so the first piece of advice is to book in advance if you want to go there for dinner. Last week (during the week it is quieter and it is easier to find a table for 2/4 people even the day before) we were 2 couples and we found a place easily. It is located in the center of Rho, in Via Garibaldi, 57 a few steps from the Church of San Vittore. Upon entering you immediately notice that some of the customers are regulars, another positive factor. The owners are very kind and everything we ordered was of excellent quality. Speaking with the affable owner Davide he told us that the dishes created take inspiration from the basics of Artusi cuisine and are changed on average with each season. The 4 of us ordered 2 dishes each: Smoked Swordfish, Smoked Herring and a Pasta First Course with Fish, then moving on to the second courses with Umbrine, Octopus Salad and Rabbit, all washed down with 1.5 Liters of Bianco Mosso della Casa, 4 desserts and coffee. The quality/price ratio, from my point of view, was excellent: Euro 37.50 each. The important aspect is that you eat really well spending the right amount (at lunch, among other things, work promotions, but respecting the daily menu at 19 Euros). A truly beautiful evening, there is a public car park 50 meters away, free after 7:00 pm. I invite you to try it if you don't know it yet.

Il locale AL CANTUCCIO è grande poco più di un salotto di casa, ha circa 10/12 tavoli, da qui il nome AL CANTUCCIO: quindi il primo consiglio è quello di prenotare per tempo se volete andarvi per cenare. La settimana scorsa (infra settimana è più tranquillo ed è più facile trovare un tavolo per 2/4 persone anche il giorno prima) ci siamo trovati in 2 coppie ed abbiamo trovato posto facilmente. Si trova nel centro di Rho, in Via Garibaldi, 57 a pochi passi dalla Chiesa di San Vittore. Entrando ti accorgi subito che parte della clientela è habitué, altro fattore positivo. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato è risultato di qualità eccellente. Parlando con l’affabile proprietario Davide ci ha riferito che i piatti realizzati prendono spunto dalle basi della cucina Artusi e vengono cambiati mediamente ad ogni stagione. In 4 abbiamo ordinato 2 piatti a testa: Spada Affumicato, Aringa Affumicata ed un Primo di Pasta con pesce, per poi passare ai secondi con Ombrina, Insalata di Polpo, e Coniglio, il tutto innaffiato da 1 Litro e Mezzo di Bianco Mosso della Casa, 4 dessert e caffe. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo, dal mio punto di vista, è risultato ottimo: Euro 37,50 cadauno. L’aspetto importante è che si mangia davvero bene spendendo il giusto (a pranzo tra l’altro promozioni di lavoro, ma rispettando il menù giornaliero a 19 Euro). Davvero una bella serata, presente un parcheggio pubblico a 50 metri, gratuito dopo le 19.00. Vi invito a provarlo se non lo conoscete ancora.
