Un'esperienza unica in un ambiente romantico, siamo stati coccolati dalla signora Carla persona gentilissima. Cibo buono e raffinato servito in un ambiente fiabesco. Grazie per aver reso la serata unica.

You know that place where you go and you don't know what happens? That place that is a discovery? Okay. This restaurant is absurd. I ate very well. Carla is a wonderful woman, with a unique friendliness. You can talk about anything with her. It has the utmost professionalism and education, not to mention the dishes. As soon as my girlfriend and I sat down, Carla welcomed us with a beautiful smile and then stayed to talk to us for a bit. I ate the tortelloni, which was sublime to say the least, I hadn't eaten so well in a restaurant for a long time. And then the place, well looked after. Selected and atypical environment, a style that struck me a lot!! I have already recommended it to friends. Prices in line with the service and quality! In short, I discovered it by chance, starting tonight among the best restaurants I have known in Rome. And my girlfriend literally fell in love with the place and the owner. I really had a good time and nowadays you can't say that easily. I would give 7 stars if I could. Try it to believe it.

Non è una cena, è un'esperienza! Incuriositi dalle foto del locale, abbiamo tentato in varie occasioni di prenotare per il giorno stesso ma abbiamo trovato sempre pieno. Complici le festività ieri abbiamo tentato la fortuna e abbiamo trovato posto. Ci ha accolto una donna sorridente ed estrosa, in un ambiente sereno e allo stesso tempo stimolante. Uno di quei posti che ti fa sentire di essere coccolati vicino al camino anche se questo non c'è! Normalmente non siamo i tipi che badano a queste cose, ma l'atmosfera di ieri ci ha veramente colpito. Venendo alla cena: strepitosa. Sapori veri, seppur articolati, per nulla artefatti. Il filetto al barolo era speciale, una carne tenerissima di ottima qualità e cucinata in un modo magistrale. Anche i dolci ottimi e finalmente un sorbetto degno di questo nome. A fine cena, e lo facciamo raramente, siamo rimasti seduti a parlare con la proprietaria e le persone sedute ai tavoli vicini. Siamo usciti da lì con il cuore aperto e la pancia piena. Ho visto che qualcuno parla del prezzo alto, ci credo! È come essere andati a cena dalla tua zia preferita, mangi tanto, tutto fantastico e sei stato in famiglia. Ovvio che se mentre esci devi pagare il conto anche 5 euro ti sembrerebbe un' esagerazione, quando mai hai pagato a casa di tua zia?! Ecco, Carla è talmente brava a farti sentire a casa che uno rischia di scordarsi di certe meccaniche capitalistiche.. (Che poi a conti fatti non è assolutamente caro, ma vabbè) A presto, zia Carla!

This is by far one of the most unique dining experiences of my life. The owner, Carla, is incredibly friendly and bubbly and seemed dedicated to making sure that we were comfortable and happy. she provided her scarf for my girlfriend who was cold. She constantly filled our glasses with prosecco. Some of the items were not available despite being on the menu, and since we don't speak Italian, we didn't fully understand each other at times. But it didn't matter, because the food that Carla brought out for us was fantastic. There are several different dining areas, each with its own decor and quirky trinkets on the walls. This place is off the beaten path, and we seemed to be the only Italians dining that evening. If I ever visit Rome again, I would happily go back for another once in a lifetime dining experience with Carla at Al Cantuccio. Grazie Mille!

10/10 highly recommended. The kindness and sweetness of the owner, warm atmosphere and super tasty food. It was a unique experience to eat there. After a long time, I felt happy and completely satisfied in a restaurant.

Pleasant discovery of this restaurant where I had dinner for 2 evenings. Once meat and once fish. Good home cooking, super hospitality and generous, quality dishes. Fillet and fried fresh squid, which melt in your mouth. Thank you.😀.
