Al Cantuccio In Roma

I'd never been there, but my parents had been there several times, a long time ago; before I was born. Now they live in another region, so they haven't had the chance. So it was my first time. There were six of us. We all had a great time. The owner, a true Roman, very friendly, cordial, polite, and intelligent, explained the menu to us. We started with some very original and unique appetizers. All very good. There were several courses. Then we each had a first course. Definitely good. The place is meticulously designed down to the last detail. It's one of a kind, with decor impossible to copy or imitate. There's also a room, the grotto, ideal for more privacy. I didn't get a good look because there was a very young couple there, and I didn't want to disturb them. When I return to Rome, I'll definitely go there again. Oh, and there's not even a sign outside. And in the nice weather, you can eat in the garden. I recommend it.

If you’re a tourist and want to try authentic Italian ravioli, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious, and the portions were generous. The staff are very friendly. The restaurant has an amazing history. Everything is made with care, the design is interesting, and the location is great. I absolutely fell in love with this place 😍❤️

A wonderful place. The dinner was truly beautiful and it felt like eating in a museum. This museum is the product of years of family experience and the personality of host Carla. Everyone was so kind and the food was excellent. An 11/10 experience. I couldn't recommend it enough. An institution of culture, cuisine, and beauty. Many thanks to Carla and all the staff who hosted us perfectly. An evening to remember ❤️☘️

It can't be described, it's simply to be experienced... Carla, the owner. A woman from another era, makes you feel at home. The cuisine, hers, is good, refined. Unconventional. And then the decor; every little detail has a unique meaning. The place is truly spectacular. Unique.

A truly unique experience in a place unlike any other. As soon as we stepped into the restaurant, we were enveloped in a magical, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The dishes? One surprise after another: creative, meticulously prepared, of excellent quality, and never boring. But what will remain in my heart forever is Carla's extraordinary hospitality: kind, attentive, and capable of making you feel at home despite being in such a special place. An almost enchanting place, beautiful on the outside and evocative on the inside. The owner will make you chocolate from start to finish. A good value for money, offering carefully prepared and tasty food.
