Al Cantuccio In Roma

We had a very pleasant evening. Food was wonderful. Price performance fits and the hostess was very warm-hearted. Gladly again.

Right from the entrance this place captures you with all its magic... a place out of time where every space is full of objects that tell things... the owner, Carla, very nice... at the end of the evening it seemed like we had known each other all our lives... the food was excellent, delicious... I will definitely go back and I highly recommend it... the price is in line with what is offered, perhaps a little above the norm but it's worth it... go!

Consigliatissimo! Carla ci ha fatto sentire a casa con la sua frizzante eccentricità. Un concept di ristorazione vecchio stampo ma anche innovativo. Cibo ottimo, vini di qualità. Un posto unico nel suo genere. Torneremo sicuramente!

If you have never been to Al Cantuccio by Carla... you have to go there! It is one of those slightly magical places that must be experienced once in a lifetime. The atmosphere is truly magical, with a slightly kitck but very charming decor, the owner is friendly and engaging and makes you feel at home, the food is truly exquisite, the wine, the tortelloni... the desserts (try the strudel with cinnamon ice cream and then tell me) exceptional. Ok all nice, but where's the downside? The price. It's actually a little high (€40-45 per person)... but in my opinion it should absolutely be tried at least once in your life!

Lovely place and delicious cuisine

Un'esperienza unica in un ambiente romantico, siamo stati coccolati dalla signora Carla persona gentilissima. Cibo buono e raffinato servito in un ambiente fiabesco. Grazie per aver reso la serata unica.

You know that place where you go and you don't know what happens? That place that is a discovery? Okay. This restaurant is absurd. I ate very well. Carla is a wonderful woman, with a unique friendliness. You can talk about anything with her. It has the utmost professionalism and education, not to mention the dishes. As soon as my girlfriend and I sat down, Carla welcomed us with a beautiful smile and then stayed to talk to us for a bit. I ate the tortelloni, which was sublime to say the least, I hadn't eaten so well in a restaurant for a long time. And then the place, well looked after. Selected and atypical environment, a style that struck me a lot!! I have already recommended it to friends. Prices in line with the service and quality! In short, I discovered it by chance, starting tonight among the best restaurants I have known in Rome. And my girlfriend literally fell in love with the place and the owner. I really had a good time and nowadays you can't say that easily. I would give 7 stars if I could. Try it to believe it.

This is by far one of the most unique dining experiences of my life. The owner, Carla, is incredibly friendly and bubbly and seemed dedicated to making sure that we were comfortable and happy. she provided her scarf for my girlfriend who was cold. She constantly filled our glasses with prosecco. Some of the items were not available despite being on the menu, and since we don't speak Italian, we didn't fully understand each other at times. But it didn't matter, because the food that Carla brought out for us was fantastic. There are several different dining areas, each with its own decor and quirky trinkets on the walls. This place is off the beaten path, and we seemed to be the only Italians dining that evening. If I ever visit Rome again, I would happily go back for another once in a lifetime dining experience with Carla at Al Cantuccio. Grazie Mille!

10/10 highly recommended. The kindness and sweetness of the owner, warm atmosphere and super tasty food. It was a unique experience to eat there. After a long time, I felt happy and completely satisfied in a restaurant.
