We had a great time.. the place is atypical, very good atmosphere. Great decor... The hostess is very welcoming and gives good advice and is as generous as her cooking. I recommend 200%

The menu offers a delicious array of Italian dishes, but there are several off-menu dishes offered as well, and allowing Carla to design a customized meal for us to enjoy was a splendid experience. From the perfectly cooked pasta, to the delectable desserts, every bite is a testament to Carla’s dedication to serving authentic and memorable meals. I came to Italy to enjoy real Italian food... I got more than I expected in this restaurant, I really recommend it and hope to come back again.

There are so many nice things to say about this place. The good home cooking, the place steeped in history, the impeccable service, and above all, the kindness and kindness of Carla. I won't say more except that you absolutely have to open the door to this place. Settle in, take your time, look at the surrounding curiosities, taste good food and talk about life. A fantastic experience. It was without a doubt the best address at which we could end our stay in Rome. Grazie mille e a presto, spero.

Certainly one of the most beautiful places I have ever eaten. Where to start... The place is incredible, discreet, you can't imagine that such a magical restaurant is hidden here. The place is full of family history, decorated and furnished with great taste. There are unique pieces everywhere you look. And that's just for the exterior. The interior is just as fantastic, colorful and warm. We easily feel at home as this space is so cozy. The atmosphere ? Intimate, few cutlery for friendly treatment. It's calm and at the same time lively, you would want to spend hours here (which we obviously did, arriving at 8:30 p.m. and leaving at midnight). We feel at home, in a timeless bubble. The service is very personal, you can see that the people who work there enjoy doing it. Carla, who is also the boss, takes the time to explain each dish to you, to chat with you and to tell you her story. Time is taken for you! It's great to be able to feel so listened to and that someone takes the time to let you choose. I had the chance to taste flavors and product combinations that I never thought I would taste one day. As a starter/aperitif we were treated to 5 plates of really very good small assortments with a glass each of prosecco. We continued with lemon pasta and cheese ravioli with ham. I don't remember the exact names and flavors, but the taste was there, each bite was a treat for our taste buds. Then we had pork with strawberries and red fruits and roast beef with red wine accompanied by a glass of Pinot Noir: a delight! And to top it off, we had the chocolate cake and its chocolate coulis, exquisite, it was not heavy as one might expect, it was light and tasty. As well as a lemon meringue tart with an extraordinary caramel coulis with perfect balance. In short, the complete meal had a taste of return with a price of 50€ per person, with a quality of dishes that exceeds the normal. And to end the evening in style, we were lucky enough to be able to take advantage of the end of the evening when everyone had gone to chat with Carla, this woman with an incredibly sunny personality, she lights up all the conversations and all the discussions. Incuriosite dall'arredamento veramente originale, in tre amiche abbiamo deciso di provare il ristorante di Carla e Mirella. E' stata una serata speciale; il Cantuccio ha un'atmosfera unica, e alla buona cena si è aggiunto il piacere di conoscere Carla, padrona di casa veramente accogliente e interessante.
