I gave four stars because it is the first time and I have not tasted the meat which is the flagship of the restaurant, however the first courses we ate, the cold cuts and the grilled scamorza were very good

Location carina, servizio garbato e veloce, prezzo nella media. Cucina tipica. Mangiato bene. Se passate da Carsoli può essere una piacevole sorpresa. Buoni gli arrosticini e le virtù.

They reopened the kitchen especially for us on Easter evening because we were left without take-away dinner. Thank you so much, you were not only nice but also very very kind. I'll come back to visit you.

While we were driving along the Rome - Pescara motorway around 1.30pm on Sunday, we felt peckish in our stomachs. Looking for advice on the internet, we opted for "the fireplace". We called to find out if there was room (there were 8 of us) and confirmed our imminent arrival. Very welcoming place and friendly, helpful staff. But let's move on to serious things.... Exceptional first courses (tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, gnocchi with mutton ragù, tagliatelle with cardoncelli mushrooms, polenta with sausage sauce and pork ribs, and on request, polenta with mushrooms, etc...) all fresh homemade pasta. For the second course we opted for the classic and excellent sheep's roasts (but there was much more) grilled scamorza, sautéed vegetables, cooked potatoes. Now full and satisfied, we resumed our journey, with one certainty........... We will return!!! Highly recommended

Definitely sufficient restaurant overall but in need of renovation and reinvigoration. Traditional dishes that do not disappoint but which I would not rate as exceptional. Average prices. I should give 3 stars but I give 4 out of respect for the historicity of the place and the family that runs it!

Ottima cucina abruzzese, ambiente tranquillo, cucina tradizionale, porzioni esagerate! Ottima pausa, personale veramente cortese.
