Everything was delicious, from the liver sausage to the grilled scamorza cheese. The lovely lady recommended the octopus carpaccio, 10 stars. Everyone was excellent and friendly, and the prices were much lower than in Rome. Highly recommended.

An authentic restaurant where no matter what you order, you'll be disappointed! Friendly service, perfect prices for the quality of the ingredients! If you're passing through, this is a must-visit! Also worth mentioning is that Al Caminetto was selected by the Michelin Guide in 2020!

Lunch with delicious and carefully prepared dishes, despite the crowd we were served quickly, the mushrooms were top, the owner was very cool, he went around the tables with the skewer full of roasted scamorza😋 the welcoming atmosphere 🙂

The porcini mushroom fettuccine (abundant) was delicious, as were the cold cuts from the appetizers we ordered! I tried the crème brûlée, which was sublime. I'll definitely be back.

18/11/2025: I had saffron tagliatelle, of course, and mixed grill... everything very good.
20/10/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance; we were out with friends and just needed something to eat. We were very impressed with the quality of the dishes. The price was reasonable and the lunch was plentiful, even with some tasty treats. The arrosticini were top-notch. Highly recommended.

02/11/2025: A nice little restaurant nestled in the alleys of the village of Barrea. It's quite small, with only a few tables. Friendly, courteous service. Tasty dishes. Easy-drinking red wine by the glass. Fairly priced.
28/10/2025: A small, quaint restaurant. The lamb and porcini pasta are excellent, and the appetizers are varied and tasty. The only complaint is that the room temperature was a little too low. Reservations are essential for weekends.
