I have known Al Caminetto since I was 12 years old and, today, as a fifty-year-old, I can say that this restaurant has been a constant presence in my life.
I still remember the first pizza I saw there: a simple margherita, which then cost 12,000 Lire, with a bottle of water at 6,000 Lire.
It was a surprising novelty for such a renowned and refined fish restaurant. At the time, the idea of including a pizzeria seemed like an unusual choice, almost a fall in style and yet it turned out to be brilliant: for us children, who didn't like the classic restaurant, it was a small salvation while mum and dad enjoyed a quality dinner .
A timeless excellence
Al Caminetto has always been synonymous with quality.
Fresh and expertly prepared fish is the real protagonist: simple, without excess, to enhance the authentic taste of the raw materials. This is why, even today, for me and my family, it is a guarantee.
Whether it's a special dinner or a convivial moment, we always know what to expect: excellent dishes, a refined atmosphere and impeccable service.
The changes of the times
Over the years Milano Marittima has changed.
That select tourism that could even be recognized by the visitors' shoes has given way to a more varied audience; however, Al Caminetto has managed to maintain its identity.

Elegance, quality, cleanliness and kindness. I don't think anyone regretted eating in this historic restaurant, even just a pizza. Christmas 2024 I always come back willingly, everything here seems perfect. The quality is very high and the staff is really good.

Nice place with super friendly staff. We were treated very well and ate very well. I really liked the raw fish appetizers, especially the Catalan-style shrimp and scampi. Very good quality and preparation of the fish. The first ones are also good.

We had lunch here, I must say that we hadn't been back for a while and I must say that the service was fast at first with the starter then the first courses,....my little son and I ate immediately while my my partner and his other 11 year old son ate about 40 minutes after us. The desserts seem a little pricey to me... almost all of them cost 7 euros. In my opinion, something has changed...

Suggestive location, professional and attentive staff... the menu is very varied, raw materials selected and cooked with care. Prices are in line with the products offered. Place to try!

Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures, but believe me it's fantastic, a menu with a lot of dishes and if you can't choose there, it's better to stay at home!!!
