The place could use a refresh, and the waiters could use a course in de-draining and serving the catch of the day, given that it's not cheap, but the food is worth it. Everything is fresh and tasty.

This is not a gourmet restaurant. This is good simple, fresh and local Italian food freshly cooked and great value. A perfect place for a relaxing lunch.
The entrance is tiny but the restaurant goes way back and into a garden. Simple, clean and tasty. Great to have carafes of house wine at a sensible price.
Definitely worth a return visit.

Good Italian food. I recommend the "Pizza Nerano" and the "baccalà arrostito con foglie di limone," grilled fish with lemon leaves.

We'd read the reviews, which were very mixed. It actually turned out to be a surprise. We had an excellent house antipasto, very rich and with a nice slice of fiordilatte that we absolutely love. The cured meats were excellent, and then we continued with two trios of grilled meats. A generous portion and cooked to perfection. An eggplant parmigiana and fries, water, and local wine. Finally, a bitter liqueur. We spent €70 for two. Impeccable service. We'll definitely be back.

Quando si accede capisci l'origine del nome, ma in realtà ha una sala interna capiente e anche posti in giardino! I più accorti, noteranno all'ingresso i macchinari: fanno pasta fresca e buone pizze. Vi raccomando i primi, molto buoni. Rapporto qualità prezzo sicuramente buono.
