Al Borducan In Varese

I went to the restaurant for an anniversary, excellent food and service, incredibly romantic location and atmosphere, you won't find better places for a romantic dinner..

We had lunch as guests of a friend in this wonderful restaurant (and hotel but we did not stay). After the delicious appetizer based on cooked egg barzotto alla carbonara, with pecorino cream and crispy bacon, we moved on to the second course, the Prussian Manzetta in Sichuan pepper sauce shaded with Borducan. Since the ritual was so good, we returned to the first courses, their risotto waiting to be discovered. Friendly staff ready to meet customer needs. The Christmas decorations still present made the lunch even more evocative. Excellent location with a view of Varese and the province. You have to try it once.

I spent New Year's Eve 2024 in this wonderful restaurant with my better half. Well what can I say: exceptional service, with young and very helpful staff for any need, excellent dishes with quality raw materials, the aperitif they offer, the Elikir, very good and pleasant to start the evening. At midnight toast with a breathtaking view over the entire Varese area and Milan 🎇🎆 highly recommended for a dinner for a couple but also with close friends, At the end of the evening there is the possibility of being able to take the roses they put on the table 🌹🌹 I will return, perhaps in the summer season.

The Borducan restaurant certainly stands out for its enchanting location, with a breathtaking view that makes the environment truly evocative and pleasant. Unfortunately, however, the quality of the food does not reflect the expectations that such a promising location could arouse. The dishes, in fact, are mediocre and sometimes pretentious, trying to play too much on combinations and presentations without managing to offer a truly satisfying taste. Furthermore, the portions are definitely too small, leaving a sense of dissatisfaction. Added to this is a sloppy service, with young and still inexperienced waiters who, unfortunately, fail to provide the professionalism one would expect in a restaurant of this type. Finally, the prices are too high compared to what is actually offered on the plate, making the culinary experience even less justifiable. A real shame, because the restaurant has all the potential to become a point of reference if only it improved in the quality of food, service and value for money. Vegetarian-vegan offer not up to date.

The magical atmosphere, the excellent dinner and the impeccable service made the evening perfect. Well done everyone!

Un posto meraviglioso dove tornare è sempre un piacere, ogni volta emoziona un po di più ed esalta la coppia. Se é vero che l'amore è fatto di piccole cose, ogni tanto concedersi un grande gesto come una fuga romantica al Borducan riaccende è un ottimo strappo alla regola!!!

Location fantastica, addobbi natalizi molto belli,cibo di qualità!! Vino ottimo!!! Grazie per tutto!!! Ci tornerò, però in dolce compagnia!!
