Excellent restaurant with panoramic views and a pleasant walk to reach it.
Only one criticism however: the excellent quality of the cuisine is not yet, in my opinion, at the same level as the most renowned starred restaurants, while the prices are.

An absolute gem, anything other than five stars would be a disgrace.
Bathroom room is recommended to have a view of the lake. Absolutely sensational.
The friendliness is incredible, and the breakfast is also absolutely top notch.
The best thing you can imagine as a racing cyclist, who needs a little more for the tours that offer a lot of altitude here.
Always happy with this hotel!
The parking spaces are also not that far away, as you can read in some reviews. You can probably still expect to run 300 m.
If you don't want that, just look for another hotel.

We had an aperitif on their small balcony, which offers a wonderful view. The cocktails are special, well made (and please don't overdo it, they're also pretty strong 😂).
The only thing that perplexes me is the practically non-existent aperitif, given that the prices are already not low, bringing chips and peanuts to a place like this is a paradox.
Abbiamo fatto aperitivo sul loro balconcino, che offre una vista stupenda. I cocktail sono particolari, fatti bene (e mi raccomando a non esagerare, sono anche belli forti 😂).
L'unica cosa che mi lascia perplessa l'aperitivo praticamente inesistente, visto che già i prezzi non sono bassi, portare patatine e arachidi in un posto del genere è un paradosso.
Al Borducan is an obligatory stop for me when I come to Sacro Monte.
The first time I went to Borducan there was still Mr. Bregonzio who served the Elixir from a teapot equipped with a music box with the notes of Love Story... how could you not fall in love.

We had lunch as guests of a friend in this wonderful restaurant (and hotel but we did not stay).
After the delicious appetizer based on cooked egg barzotto alla carbonara, with pecorino cream and crispy bacon, we moved on to the second course, the Prussian Manzetta in Sichuan pepper sauce shaded with Borducan.
Since the ritual was so good, we returned to the first courses, their risotto waiting to be discovered.
Friendly staff ready to meet customer needs.
The Christmas decorations still present made the lunch even more evocative.
Excellent location with a view of Varese and the province.
You have to try it once.
