The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes are well-prepared and plentiful. The prices are more than fair, especially considering the splendid view of the lake.

Excellent experience. This is already the second time I've come all the way from Milan for dinner with friends. The view is spectacular, especially in the summer months with the veranda open. Excellent traditional food: a fixed menu with a charcuterie board and various appetizers, two first courses (rice with mushrooms and ravioli), polenta with meat or cheese, a choice of dessert, and all-inclusive wine, water, and coffee. Friendly and very helpful staff. I definitely recommend it. If I'm not mistaken, they also organize afternoon snacks.

Generous dishes with a stunning panoramic view of Lake Maggiore

Beautiful place, very down-to-earth, it feels like home, dining in the garden under the stars, with a lake view that would be the envy of the world. Beautiful!

Great location with a stunning view of the lakes...excellent food, beautiful atmosphere...

The positives first. A very picturesque location with fantastic views of the lake and the hinterland. Friendly service. Friday evening, very few guests. The decor is rather casual and spartan, with some benches without cushions. The website lists a set menu for €35 (from 2022). This wasn't offered to us. The selection is very limited. The antipasti platter was tasty and plentiful, very hearty, not for gourmets. It was presented somewhat carelessly, without butter or raw vegetables. The bread was as dry as if it had been left out in the sun the day before. The risotto tasted more of vegetable broth than mushrooms, and the meat pasta sauce reminded us of canned meat. Perhaps it's a specialty we didn't appreciate. The main course came with almost the same sauce again. There was also a sausage goulash, very similar in taste, and another goulash that was supposed to be rabbit (we couldn't guess), also very similar in taste. The side dish was mushy, salty polenta. Vegetarians only got polenta, covered with far too much strong cheese. The bottle of red wine was passable. We were very full for about €40 per person. It wasn't enjoyable.

Beautiful place with an incredible view of Lake Maggiore and Varese. The food was delicious, the service excellent, and the kindness that is sometimes lacking these days was a wonderful surprise. Go there, it's a wonderful place. It's worth a try.

Stunning view, excellent food, fair prices

Wonderful place, priceless view. The food quality—I've been going there for at least 30 years—has slowly declined. Not that the food is bad, but just okay. The desserts are top-notch, and the price is all in all fair.
