Yet another confirmation of the quality and tradition that this place offers. The food is always excellent, with generous portions and very high quality ingredients. The managers stand out for their attention and care towards the customer, making each visit a pleasant experience. Even though it was December 30th and there was an event in town, the place was crowded but perfectly managed, without ever creating chaos. A welcoming and well-organised environment. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I stayed in Santa Fiora for 4 days between Christmas and New Year with the idea of ​​trying out the different restaurants in the town. The first evening I came across "Il Barilotto" and the food was so good that we ended up having dinner here every evening to try the whole menu. All truly exquisite and absolutely acceptable prices. The guys who serve in the room are uniquely friendly. You guys are number one! I hope to return soon.

They are super nice and very good! In the kitchen, mum takes care of preparing delicious dishes with wonderful ingredients and local recipes! A beautiful wine cellar and a welcoming and characteristic environment! Well done & thanks see you soon

We stumbled upon this typical tavern in the historic center of the town by chance, damn how well we ate, from the first courses to the meat and dessert! The guys who work there are kind and very nice. If we ever end up in those parts again we will definitely be back!

The pleasure that the restaurant is able to offer is twofold, as the environment is refined in its simplicity and above all the food is well modulated in the search for the recovery of the strong local flavours, but at the same time delicately proposed in unique dishes, while respecting the local Amiata tradition, combined with an image of the lively and sincerely spontaneous welcome of the manager, are able to immerse the customer in a warm and familiar atmosphere right from the first moment, capable of stimulating the right relationship between the simple need to eat good food with the pleasure of entertaining and researching culinary preciousness. In particular, worth mentioning: the "gnudi" are excellent and the skilfully fried porcini mushrooms are delicious, with a note of merit also for the chestnut jam. The prices are very affordable.

Comincio con il dire che leggendo le ultime recensioni ho avuto qualche piccolo dubbio,molti parlavano della scortesia dei ragazzi al ristorante e dei piatti nella normalità..Ma nonostante tutto io quando ci sono molte incertezze prenoto per tastare con mano.. e posso dire che.. Accoglienza ottima i ragazzi sono stati molto cordiali ed affettuosi, preparati sulle nostre domande del menù ed attenti al servizio.. Il cibo è a mio avviso ottimo ovviamente io parlo da turista e non conoscendo i piatti toscani essendo siciliano.. abbiamo preso 2 antipasti toscani e un formaggio miele e limone ottimo servito in modo particolare.. poi due primi deliziosi.. vi allego le foto.. ringrazio i ragazzi per questa esperienza super positiva..

Il Barilotto di Santa Fiora è stato il terzo ristorante del tour di quattro giorni in maremma. Scelto anche questo dalle belle recensioni che confermiamo integralmente. Locale storico, piccolo ma grazioso; abbiamo cenato all’esterno in una bella e ben attrezzata piazzetta. Personale velocissimo gentile e professionale. Le pietanze erano tutte ottime ed abbondanti, dal sapore deciso ma equilibrato. Conto direi più che onesto. In quattro abbiamo preso 3 primi elaborati e due secondi, due contorni di verdure ed un antipasto. Quattro dolci e amaro, quest’ultimo offerto. Il tutto a soli €.100,00!!! Davvero complimenti. Ci siamo permessi di suggerire una rivisitazione del dolce, le ricottine con crema di castagne, buone ma da rimodulare.
