The environment is enveloping, comfortable, relaxing..... it is a place with a different connotation from the usual culinary tour in the city of Milazzo, a valid alternative to fish...
It ranges between a cuisine that is influenced by a regional Apulian expression and a regional Sicilian contamination that represents the territories well (also something further north on the menu)
I found it to be a genuine and sincere experience
A delicious rabbit salad (a little too much oil), very tasty and soft
The Bordeaux cheek with very amazing purée, melting and with a full flavour
Generous and tasty platters of cured meats, typical aubergine rolls on burrata cream and crunchy bread
The first courses include paccheri with white ragù, gnocchi with pistachio and burrata, rigatone with carbonara and tagliolini with cocoa and white rabbit ragù, which will satisfy all palates, with various textures and flavours, full I would say...
Excellent and delicate steamed cod and ash potatoes
Homemade desserts, good but not very good, something more classic tiramisu (version with pandoro, given the period I think...,) then panna cotta and berry cheesecake...

An institution in Milazzo! For me the only restaurant where I can enjoy fabulous meat dishes. The environment is welcoming, the wine list is very assorted, And then there's her... the fabulous Chiara, who personally takes care of every little detail!!!

About a fortnight ago, I had dinner in this characteristic restaurant; we sat at one of the outside tables given the beautiful evening. However, the tavern has a large room full of vintage objects that envelop the tables with an air of times gone by and a small room dominated by a long bar counter in front of which some tables are positioned particularly suitable for groups of friends. From the curious and extensive menu we chose, to start: potato pie with parmesan cream and rabbit salad with cherry tomatoes and capers; both tasty in their simplicity and excellent in the quality of the raw materials. N.B.: I'm not a rabbit fan but I would have gladly repeated this dish. We then continued with beef carpaccio with ovoli, truly worthy of applause for the firmness of the mushrooms and the flavor of the meat and the veal cheek with Bordeaux sauce and mashed potatoes, truly fascinating for the combination of the various ingredients. Wine list under renovation but with beautiful proposals which, when completed, will certainly honor the effort of the kitchen. Owners who move between the tables with a welcoming, inviting, professional but at the same time friendly hospitality and with a vaguely "naive" touch that puts you in a good mood and invites conviviality. Perfect evening! Compliments!

A great recommendation from our wonderful receptionist at Nghonia Bay Hotel. Chiara, the owner, gave us a very friendly welcome and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner there in the restaurant two evenings. The game dishes are recommended.
