We went to Al 384 pizzeria last night at the recommendation of some friends, and I have to say they were absolutely right: it was a truly wonderful experience in every way.
The place has a welcoming and modern atmosphere, but the real added value are the owners and the staff, who are truly kind, helpful, and ready to make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
Moving on to dinner, the quality of the ingredients is evident in every dish:
- Carciofo alla Giudia: crunchy and flavorful, an appetizer that perfectly honors Roman tradition.
- Margherita 384: a truly amazing pizza. The "384" version with tomato, stracciatella, and basil emulsion is a perfect balance of flavors, with a light, well-leavened dough.
- Tiramisu: we ordered two for a sweet finish, and they did not disappoint: fresh and expertly made.
All this was accompanied by an excellent wine that completed a flawless evening. If you're looking for top-notch pizza in the Balduina/Trionfale area with friendly service, Al 384 is a definite must. We'll definitely be back!

On my last day in Rome, I looked online for a delicious pizza spot and made a reservation at a famous restaurant in central Rome, but in the end, I changed my mind and went to a restaurant near my hotel that had good reviews. It turned out to be the right decision. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. The pizza and croquettes were incredibly delicious, and I had a truly enjoyable time. Even the dessert was delicious, leaving me completely satisfied. This is a wonderful restaurant that I would definitely like to return to if I visit Rome again.

In a pleasant environment...... A surprising gastronomic experience of pizza never eaten so light (you can also understand afterwards with excellent digestion) both traditional and innovative flavors to absolutely try!!! Discovered yesterday thanks to a Neapolitan friend who understands pizza...... it has now become my absolute point of reference!!!! !

Sunday evening with friends at this pizzeria for the first time... the place was very welcoming, not too noisy, and beautifully decorated. The service was friendly and fast. We ordered mixed appetizers (the chickpea and broccoli supplì and the mozzarella in carrozza were excellent, but we found the classic supplì to be a bit bland). The pizzas were very good, with a light, well-cooked dough and a crispy, not soggy crust. The only flaw, if I had to be harsh, was the saltiness, but obviously that's a matter of personal preference.
The only negative, in my opinion, was the bathroom, which, sadly, detracts a bit from the restaurant and needs to be renovated.
I would definitely go back; it was a lovely evening.

A new hybrid pizza experience—with a thick, crispy crust; very light dough. Excellent. Truly excellent fried food. A little pricey, yes.

A charming, well-kept, and well-decorated restaurant with an outdoor terrace (closed for the winter). To start, we tried three fried dishes: a pasta frittatina, a gateau croquette, and a mozzarella in carrozza with Cetara anchovies; all three were delicious, with a crust that wasn't overly thick but very crunchy. Perhaps we were expecting a little more flavor from the mozzarella itself.
For pizzas, we opted for a traditional pizza and a vegetable pizza: we were very surprised by the vegetable pizza, which, despite being vegetable-based, had truly excellent flavor. The crust was high but not excessively so, and the pizza remained nice and straight in the center, not flabby like contemporary pizzas often do. The dough was definitely light, so it didn't weigh us down after dinner, but it still left us a bit thirsty.
To finish, we had a baked apple dessert, a delicate flavor that highlighted the apple, truly delicious.
Attentive and courteous service. The final bill, including two waters, was €69: the quality of the ingredients is undoubtedly there, but the prices are perhaps €1-2 above average. It's still worth a visit.
