We planned an evening at this location, which has a truly remarkable view of the Valley of the Temples (it must be wonderful to eat outside in summer or late spring). The fish was top-notch, beautifully presented, and everything was truly delicious; the staff was excellent and very helpful. The only downside was the interior, which was too '70s-inspired, which wasn't really my taste. Compared to all the other positive aspects of the place, it's out of place, but only up to a point, so many positives are there.
A beautiful, well-kept garden. Definitely worth trying in a different season to enjoy the magnificent view.

Akropolis is a restaurant nestled in the archaeological park of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. The dishes offered draw inspiration from Sicily and reflect ancient cuisine, skillfully and expertly revisited by the Chef. This exploration draws on the maritime culinary traditions of nearby ports, those of the inland country houses, and the vast heritage left by the peoples who passed through the island.

Tourist trap? Yes, the guests were obviously exclusively tourists, but we ate well and received very friendly service.
Some of the dishes were completely different than expected, but they were still quite good, like parmigiana or focaccia.
The view is, of course, magnificent, which justifies the slightly higher price.

Amazing place!
The location and views are stunning, staff is extremely professional, helpful and engaged in their job. The manager is also super friendly and made us feel welcome.
This is the best restaurant I ate in while in Sicily. Definitely recommend going. The prices are good and the quality of food is very high. The restaurant offers free starters with the local olive oil.
This is a must visit place!
You can park your car on the street just in front of the restaurant.
