We had lunch with friends at this wonderful, traditional Roman restaurant. We ate wonderfully, using genuine, fresh ingredients, with a special mention for the characteristic Jewish-style artichokes, which are fried and served with crispy petals and a melt-in-the-mouth center. The cured meats and traditional Roman dishes, such as tripe, beans with pork rind, and carbonara, were also delicious. The meat was also excellent, very tender and cooked to perfection. All this in a friendly, professional atmosphere where customer service is paramount. Thanks to Carmelo, Antonella, and Rita for the wonderful experience, but especially to Valerio for his engaging personality. We highly recommend this restaurant; we'll definitely be back.

Returning to the 3 Scalini is like coming home Hugs, laughter, and good food

We were there tonight for the first time but I think we will return very soon. We had a table at 9:30 pm but it was full. They made us wait to free up a table and we thought we won't eat here instead. The son came out apologizing for the wait after which we went in and found ourselves at home. The mother was spectacular and Valerio and his sister were really nice. We went in laughing and left with a stomach ache. The father who is in the kitchen is a true chef. We went to eat today for the first time and we can simply say that we felt at home. The food was excellent and the staff, especially Antonella and Rita, seemed to have known us forever. We will be back soon and highly recommend it.
