I want to leave a positive review for all the staff, without exception... with a 1 year old child I had all the comforts and availability, we ate delicious dishes in an environment which in my opinion is unique in Matera. Good job, everyone....

Respectable typical Lucanian gastronomic experience.
We deliberately ate typical dishes from the area, also following the excellent advice of the owner, who guided us in choosing the dishes.
Kind and friendly, they demonstrated customer care at the heart of their work.
Congratulations, definitely recommended.

The food was very delicious and everything was just perfect. There were interesting traditional dishes we tried, including horse chops which were very tasty. The octopus with the puree for a starter was really good too.

Ebbene! Vagando come pazzi per la stupenda Matera ad un certo punto - affamati e disidratati - siamo entrati in questo locale semi sotterraneo. Fresco quando basta, accogliente e particolare nel semplice e piacevole arredamento.
E subito proposto il Menù Euro 20:
- orecchiette con salsiccia e pomodorini caramellati.
- insalata verde mista, fresca e ristoratrice.
- calice di vino in bottiglia a scelta (ottimo un rosé consigliato dalla gentilissima Signora).
- acqua gas/no gas a volontà.
- caffè.
- dolce (lo hanno preso solo le bambine).
Ecco il gioco è fatto.
Atmosfera piacevole, servizio di buon livello... Insomma un piacere aver pranzato ed esserci ristorati da voi.

The place is atmospheric, because it is located in a cave several meters deep. We chose the €20 menu. Both the quality and quantity of the food was very satisfactory. The service was very friendly and fast.

Affidandoci alle recensioni di TA e cercando un ristorante con tipicità il meno possibile turistico, sebbene in pieno centro a Matera: connubio azzeccato ottenuto Ai Palmenti.
Situato praticamente in grotta e su più livelli, davvero caratteristico, ci siamo trovati bene. Servizio un po' incerto e lento, a parte la gentilissima titolare.
Piatti belli da vedere e davvero ben eseguiti di cucina locale, cruschi in primis.
Prezzi adeguati. Ne siamo usciti soddisfatti!
