The food made me tear up. This is what I think of when I think of Italy. Simple, rustic ingredients, perfected. It was very easily the highlight of me and my girlfriends trip. It is far from any main station, so be prepared to take a taxi or eat a 30 minute walk both ways to the nearest bus station. The food was too well priced for how amazing it was. I called maybe 20 minutes before opening time and I somehow got a reservation even though reviews say they got reservations weeks or months in advance. We got a mixed antipasti with local meats, two pasta dishes, rabbit ravioli, cherry tomato/swiss chard ricotta Tortellini, homemade vanilla ice cream (it doesn't need toppings it is so good) and a pear and apple cake with passionfruit sorbet. Free sampler of bread and some sort of meat, and some free confections at the end. I will be thinking about this place for a lifetime.

Trattoria near Parma, in the middle of the countryside. Excellent cold cuts, pickles, and fried gnocco.
Two first courses. Herb ravioli. And fresh pasta with an intriguing sauce. A gelato with zabaglione, chopped hazelnuts, chocolate, and liqueurs to garnish. The price is worth the quality and quantity.

I've been wanting to come back for a while, but it's always packed. I have to say, the wait was worth it. Everything was truly excellent. Spectacular, in fact. The gelato is a must-try!

Traditional Parma cuisine at its finest! The dishes were superb, perfectly balanced, and prepared with great care. We especially want to commend the friendly and attentive staff 🫶, always on the ball. We felt completely at ease and were more than satisfied. The food was good, but it was a shame not to give the tortelli d'erbetta a fifth star, which I thought was too rich and therefore a bit cloying. I didn't like the service because the staff was rushed and confused, with many shortcomings (the first course arrived just as I had finished the appetizers, and the other first courses didn't come out at the same time, they hadn't brought cutlery yet, and they didn't even bring the cheese for the first courses).

Tiny cozy trattoria, excellent service, the staff is well prepared, never pushy, always smiling. Maybe somebody is in a rush, but it doesn't ruin the experience. The food is fantastic. Of course salami, all the pasta and the gelato are the masterpieces, but the fish/meat dishes are no less. I got the animella, wow! It would worth the trip to this trattoria. We also got the pasta with erbetta, the filling was a cloud in the mouth. And I can confirm the gelato worth all the exceptional words already written in other reviews. A place that worth a trip.
