Watch out for children!
Table of 25 people, including 8 14-year-olds who ate ONLY 2 platters of raw ham (and I repeat 2 platters in 8, not 2 platters per person) 1 5-year-old child.... still paid the ENTIRE fixed menu of 25 €. FOLLY!
It's a shame because all the raw materials are very good and the environment is very pleasant..

Typical and rustic restaurant in the center of San Daniele, a stone's throw from the hospital.
Excellent freshly machine-cut ham. The side dishes of mushrooms, artichokes, goat cheese and cheese are good.
The bread not suited to tasting ham or other cured meats, too dry and crunchy. Nor the packaged breadsticks which do not pair well with San Daniele.
There is no real menu, the bill is totally unknown, reaching prices above average and not in keeping with what is offered. We were a group of 15 people, two days in a row there for lunch, fixed price of €20 each.

Welcoming atmosphere, excellent ham, cheeses, mushrooms and artichokes. Always a guarantee in San Daniele! The best!

The restaurant, by choice, has no first or second courses, only ham, cheeses, (limited) side dishes and desserts. Excellent choice, because the products are few but exceptional. Honest prices. Excellent wine. I'll be back: San Daniele ham is only really good in San Daniele, freshly sliced, everything else is a substitute, and this is one of the places where you can be on the safe side, without regrets when it comes to the bill. Lovely staff, in particular the waiter who serves the tables, good and very nice.

In a typical setting, an amazing ham, accompanied by very good cheeses and pickles, all washed down with a quality house wine. All seasoned with friendliness and professionalism of all the staff.
Highly recommended.
We will happily return.

I had dinner last night at this restaurant in San Daniele near the center. Really good ham that melts in your mouth. Negative notes are the packaged breadsticks which are not perfect with the San Daniele and the house wine which I thought was something better. They are a ham shop and not a restaurant so you can order plates of ham or mixed cured meats and the Gubana dessert which I haven't tried though.

Sono state qui per la prima volta.
Un posto bellissimo.
I was actually tired of the raw ham, but it was so delicious that I even picked up some San Daniele.
The Caprino was also super tasty.
Compliments to the post, service gentilissimo, quality eccezionale...grazie di questa splendida esperienza.

Panzo. If you are looking for a genuine place that is all substance and no form, this is the right place. The place looks like an anonymous bar/tavern from the 70s, I ate cold dishes and found them good and that's it! The raw meat is good, the pickles are good although if you try you can find better. The least affordable prices in the place.

Osteria storica, molto spartana, ma con del prosciutto ottimo servito con formaggi
e sott'oli e sott'aceti molto gustosi. Complimenti. Abbiamo anche ortato a casa un paio di pezzi di prosciutto sottovuoto.
