We went to Ai Barbacani at the end of February for an 8 PM reservation, and it was seriously the best birthday ever! The restaurant is so cozy, dimly lit, and nice and quiet. The area wasn't busy at all either.
We booked the Love & View experience and it completely made our day. We loved all the food, but the absolute best were the rigatoni neri con seppie and the Chateaubriand con salsa bernese. (Okay, okay, the panna cotta was delicious as well!)
The service was spot on, too - Simone was attentive, funny, and really added a great vibe to our dinner. He was also very nice to take our photos too!
That was one of the most memorable experiences! Definitely put it on your list! Thanks to Simone!

Simone was fantastic and the food was delicious! Definitely try the mussels for an appetizer if you enjoy them. They have limoncello on the house at the end which was wonderful as well 💛

A very warm welcome!
Excellent cuisine with fresh, expertly prepared fish.
A special mention for Simone's attitude throughout the entire service; he gave us wonderful memories of our last restaurant in Italy!
Just like in France, the knowledgeable interaction between the waiter and the server is very pleasant!

Served by Simone, who was very kind and knew exactly what we wanted before we even said it. A warm welcome, a beautiful view, and a restaurant in a hidden little paradise. The sea bass was excellent, the fish fresh and delicious, and the ravioli with butter and sage were exquisite. We happily ended our trip at this wonderful restaurant. ❤️
