Agriturismo Monte Veletta In Norcia

Breathtaking views of the Castelluccio plain. During our stay, we even enjoyed some snow on the summits of some of the mountains. A traditional dinner and a hearty breakfast were served. The price was reasonable, considering the warm welcome, the room, and the location.

I've been staying at Monte Veletta for a few years now. It's the perfect place: you sleep well, it's clean, beautiful, and Signora Luigia's cooking is exceptional. Michela, her daughter, waits tables and makes the desserts. Breakfasts are plentiful, with Michela's cakes. It's a family-run establishment: I recommend trying the lentil soup, which comes directly from the land of Signor Ottavio, the head of the family.

We chose this hotel for its location and cuisine. What more can we say? It's all been confirmed: a wonderful view of the Pian Grande (lentil fields and pristine mountains) and simple cuisine that showcases local produce. It's located on a wonderful road for us motorcyclists. The guys who run the hotel are passionate about it. Zoe is the real queen!

We stopped to sleep in this farmhouse for just one night, it has a beautiful view of the plain, the room was clean and I didn't find anything wrong, the staff was very kind and attentive to our requests. Being family-run, there is not a great choice of dishes, but the food was excellent, the raw material is of quality. I recommend this place.

Two days spent in the company of old friends. It was a pleasant experience. Too bad because the town, nine years after the earthquake, is still undergoing renovation. Despite this, the local managers, thanks to their commitment, manage to make the stay very pleasant. We will definitely return in the future, hoping for an improved logistical situation.

In mid-June I spent a weekend in this structure, with my wife and a couple of friends, to enjoy the spectacle of the blossoming. So beautiful it moves me! But what I will carry in my heart is above all the hospitality of the Testa family. A brave and strong family that lives from agriculture and livestock farming, and that is committed with great willingness to keep alive the village of Castelluccio, battered by the earthquake, and still in the process of reconstruction. They have made their structure available, adapting it to hospitality. The strength of these people is admirable, they respond to the hardships of life and the mountains with serenity and hospitality. Just sit down with each of them and have them tell you their reality to love them, to feel like part of the family and feel the need to not just be a "tourist", but to pass with respect, for a short or longer time in their life. Beautiful rooms, some of which have a magnetic view of the Pian Grande. Home cooking, simple and tasty, a wide choice of desserts, and then just ask, and if possible, they will do what is possible! Stayed for 4 days, we had a great time. Comfortable, clean room with an exceptional view of the Piana in fiore. Home cooking but with refined dishes with zero km products, The managers, parents and children, very courteous and welcoming. They make you feel at home. To recommend and return.
