This has long been my go-to place to stay in Reggio Emilia when I travel for work. A splendid Emilian farmhouse, meticulously renovated and furnished with antiques: each room is different. Excellent breakfast, and the owner is extremely friendly. Reasonable prices, and I've always found it clean. A special touch from Nebbia, who always welcomes me with a wagging tail.

The owners were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom, however, was a bit uncomfortable, but accessible via a staircase from the mezzanine sleeping area. The restaurant was excellent.

We were guests of the farmhouse for an event of Mss & Mr Dubai, we had a great dinner, the structure is beautiful, the service excellent, the breakfast satisfactory... everything very good

I celebrated my wedding here and recently my birthday. On both occasions, we were welcomed with love, kindness, and warmth. The food is excellent, and the location offers several options for both indoor and outdoor dining. The place is well-maintained and welcoming. I highly recommend it. It's a sure thing! Il Poeta Contadino

08/03/2026: We had lunch at Il Poeta Contadino restaurant in Carpineti and had a truly wonderful time. Excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a very helpful manager. They even let us charge our electric motorcycle during lunch, which was truly appreciated. A perfect spot for anyone passing through the area, especially if you're hiking the Apennine trails. We'll definitely be back!

08/03/2026: Very good food, somewhat long waiting times, table set incompletely, during the long wait for the dishes there was nothing to nibble on, staff too rushed and not very attentive to customer requests.
16/02/2026: In my opinion, all the dishes are delicious. I especially recommend the guancialini (pork cheeks), but the fried gnocco is also one of the best around, and the first courses are excellent. I've taken several people here, and they've always left satisfied.
