Very pleasant as always.... Attentive and willing boys even when they find themselves having to host clients who let their children play "rugby" in the rooms, or at least this was the noise that could be heard.... Excellent food and generous portions. Varied and delicious breakfast, I will attach photos of how I found the table set every morning, but at the beginning, not when the guests had already enjoyed the delights! ☺️☺️😋😋😋 I stayed there for 10 days and I have so much admiration and affection for these guys who go out of their way for everything and everyone.....

Beautiful location for a refuge, for those who want to take a break for two or three days it is the ideal place, there is also a small park for children, excellent dinner, right size thanks to the few rooms. Very nice trip to Forni di Sotto. We have been fine. A constructive criticism: a slightly more varied and high-quality breakfast, and staff who were not always attentive and pleasant

We just spent a week at the refuge! What can I say, an excellent welcome, a welcoming room. A special applause to Anna and her staff, also for making sure we had a breakfast with attention to every detail every morning! There was no shortage of homemade jams, cakes and biscuits, a real treat. Then Umberto, who surprised us every evening with original, local and highly sought-after dishes. A starry cuisine for us⭐️⭐️⭐️ What can I say about the place, immersed in the woods, in the silence, getting back into balance!!! We will definitely be back! Thanks from Nello and Marion

The Fornas Refuge is a true jewel hidden in the mountains, an oasis of peace and tranquility where we stopped during one of our motorbike tours. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who immediately made us feel at ease. The refuge is enchanting, surrounded by nature and with a breathtaking view of the surrounding peaks. We were enchanted by the beauty of the landscape. We ordered some typical dishes from the area and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and goodness of the food. The portions were generous and the food was fresh and genuine, prepared with local ingredients. The service was impeccable, the staff was attentive and available to satisfy our every request. We spent a pleasant relaxing afternoon, surrounded by nature and pampered by the welcoming atmosphere of the refuge. We highly recommend Rifugio Fornas to all those who wish to live an authentic and unique experience surrounded by nature. We can't wait to return and once again enjoy the hospitality and beauty of this magical place.

We left the car a little far away and took a walk to the refuge, the part in the woods was very beautiful! There was a very nice and kind girl who not only sold honey (we also bought delicious chocolate honey!) but also did a workshop: "candle with beeswax. They have created a very nice park for children with a sensorial part (walking barefoot). The food was delicious (gnocchi 12 euros and cheeses with honey 16 euros).

Place, accommodation and food top marks. The kindness of the staff and the attention towards the children were a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended.
