09/06/2025: We visited La Botte because of the many positive reviews. We loved the glass wall overlooking the kitchen, allowing you to watch the chefs prepare the food. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to our initial positive impression. The menu was very small and offered little choice. Many dishes were rather unusual, so ultimately, the fillet was the only option for us. There was no special menu for children – upon request, only pasta with tomato sauce was offered, which was very disappointing. Our request for the fillet to be served in a child-sized portion was also declined. When the dish arrived, it was clear why: The portion consisted of only four small slices of meat – simply too small for the price. My starter, a pasta dish, was okay, the portion was good, but the taste was rather average. The staff was friendly and attentive, but we still felt the value for money wasn't right. The portions are very small, and families with children in particular won't find a suitable option here. Conclusion: A restaurant with a nice idea and friendly service, but unfortunately not a place we would visit again.
