Went for dinner and had heard great things about this place. A little disappointed

We stayed for 4 days in August in this farmhouse which is located between the towns of Porto S. Stefano and Porto Ercole. The location allows you to easily move between the Giannella and Femiglia beaches. The owners are friendly, nice and provide information on how to reach the most beautiful coves or need to eat good fish. The restaurant at the farmhouse is very good, you will find the typical dishes of Maremma cuisine, combined with the wines produced by them it is worth trying (recommended)

During our holiday in the splendid Argentario, we had dinner at the farmhouse almost every evening. An enchanting place, where you dine outdoors in the countryside with exceptional dishes. Excellent quality especially in relation to the price, and their Ansonica white wine is sublime. All produced by them. Not to mention their professionalism, from Vania who manages everything and her fantastic collaborators, Elia who followed us for all the evenings, to Matteo and Alessia. Positioned in an excellent position...very close to Porto Ercole, the Feniglia reserve...and many beaches...a farmhouse surrounded by gardens and olive groves with ample parking...and with ample space for walking...divided into three lots distant from each other... one quieter than the other... we were greeted by the owner's dog who scratched our car by throwing himself on the door to welcome us... the lady who manages apologized and told us that she will repay the damage...one very kind lady who explained to us itineraries to organize and places to avoid...very kind......the rooms are clean and comfortable...with a restaurant open only for dinner with an à la carte menu offering typical dishes with local products everything was really good...the service was friendly and attentive..the breakfast with excellent local products.....we had a great time...we will be back..

ATTENTION. I would have liked to give 5 !!!!!! Because the food was wonderful, the staff especially Elia, a very kind, knowledgeable and friendly waiter. Very nice and quiet location. BUT the self-styled "manager" immediately proved rude and rude both to customers and to the aforementioned staff. Which unfortunately ruins the overall experience. We wanted to go back a second time despite this, but due to problems (it may also be our business) we called to cancel, apologizing and we even heard ourselves called incorrectly on the phone!! At most the incorrectness would have been not to call??? :D. therefore, rating for food and service: 10. Rating for the director: 0.

Splendid location, an old renovated farmhouse surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It offers B&B service with the possibility of dining at the restaurant upon reservation. Friendly, pleasant staff always ready to answer questions or requests. The menu offers excellent traditional Maremma dishes. Excellent value for money. Ideal for families. The place is also accessible with dogs.

Wonderful restaurant, literally beautiful place and absolutely genuine, fresh, refined, abundant and 100% Maremma cuisine. I don't know what to recommend because it's all delicious. My absolute favorite dishes are the gnudi, the Maremma tortello with ragù, and ALL the desserts, from first to last, in particular the truly special cantucci and the almond and walnut semifreddo. All the staff are really kind and attentive. Not only will we recommend it to everyone but we will return again and again.
