Agriturismo Corte d'Aibo In Monteveglio

We first found out about Corte d'Aibo whilst at the Slow Wine festival in Bologna, in fact Margherita was the first person we spoke to. She was just setting up so we went to a few other stalls to taste their wine and then returned back. Every wine we tasted at the stall was wonderful and we were very impressed with the philosophy and care the vineyard had. Fast forward a couple of months and my daughter and myself had the pleasure of staying at the vineyard. The setting, the ambience, the quality of everything is truly amazing. Margherita is so hard working and a credit to her lovely parents who also work non stop. Her father is a master of wine and so clever at getting perfection, he is also experimenting with new wines. The food is some of the nicest we have had in Italy, a lot of it grown on the premises. The apartments are lovely and the fresh water pool stunning. If you want to just relax and chill out whilst enjoying quality then please go here. We are going to the Classic Car Show in Bologna later this year and will have a few days here as well. Come next year I am taking my whole family out, the grandchildren can just run around and swim in the pool etc. Margherita is getting married in September and we wish her, Matteo and the family the best. I spent 24 wonderful hours with my husband, fresh and comfortable rooms, surrounded by greenery, few people, very good food

A very relaxing place on a wine estate. There are few rooms, so we're definitely not on top of each other. We fully enjoy the peace and quiet of the place, especially the terrace and garden in early summer. Very good, simple food, good wine from the estate. The only drawback is that we quickly get around it, and it's rather expensive. It's better to try the bottles of wine than tasting by the glass. The rooms are spacious but rather poorly soundproofed; fortunately, we're quickly lulled to sleep by the sounds of frogs. Note that the natural pool may not be suitable for everyone due to the abundance of algae. A nearby hiking trail allows you to explore the surrounding area. It could be better maintained in places, but it's worth the detour.

Our fourth time at Corte d’Aibo—and definitely not our last. This place is truly a gem. The setting is stunning, the rooms are comfortable with great beds, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. Margherita, the owner, is just wonderful and makes the whole experience even more special. The wines are absolutely top-notch. We highly recommend doing a tasting on the terrace—it's the perfect spot to enjoy a glass (or several!) along with their delicious ham and cheese platter. We've left with a car full of wine every single time. Also worth mentioning: it's incredibly dog-friendly. We always bring our dog Teddy, and he loves roaming freely and enjoying the vast, beautiful property. Thank you, Margherita, for another amazing stay. See you next year!

I discovered this place in an internet search. I spent two splendid days in this farmhouse nestled in the hills of Bologna, with vineyards and silence that give total and absolute relaxation. Margherita was impeccable from the moment I arrived, she immediately put me at ease with targeted and fair advice and excellent service both during my stay and during the visit to the cellars. Obviously compliments also go to the rest of the family who were able to create a relaxing and truly suitable environment for those who want to live an experience of absolute relaxation on the hills of Bologna. I will return as soon as possible.

Heartfelt thanks for your hospitality and the wonderful stay at your place. Unfortunately, it was too short, but we’re still fondly impressed and reminiscing about how great it was. The wine and food were delicious. Sadly, I’m not sure if we’ll visit again, as the world is vast and life is short, but I’ll confidently recommend your place to others.
