The wonder lies in the natural simplicity that underpins everything. Silvano's warm welcome, exuding love for the land in every gesture, and Marino's passion for the products of their labor are rare in mountain communities. Passing through San Bernardo is an opportunity to rediscover the right balance that the mountain economy must pursue. Marino Lanzini's wines were the means that allowed me to arrive and enjoy this corner of Valtellina, reaffirming that it is still possible to preserve and experience the land. P.S. My partner can't help but mention Silvano's soup every time the opportunity arises. I can't stop thinking about the maple and beech hedges (a professional flaw).

A cozy, family atmosphere, attentive, fast, and friendly service. Thoughtful and refined dishes with intense, authentic flavors. Top-quality ingredients, especially locally sourced (the owners have both a vegetable garden and animals). From the appetizer to the liqueur, there was no shortage of delicacies and specialties, such as the unripe persimmon pickled (delicious) or the Fassona beef tartare, perfectly seasoned with hints of lemon. The traditional Valtellina dishes are also excellent! The fixed menu offers different prices for adults and children. A wonderful evening, we can't wait to return!

A small, family-run agriturismo located above Chiuro, very welcoming, serving traditional local cuisine, yet equally refined. Accessible via a paved road, narrow in some places, where two cars struggle to fit, but once you arrive, it's definitely worth it. The interior is small (reservations recommended) and quaint, while the outdoor area has plenty of tables and benches spread across two levels, offering a beautiful view, especially from the back. Prices are in line with the numerous dishes, each one better than the last. For those who want, it's also located at the crossroads of several hiking trails, making it an ideal place to relax. It was our first time here, but it certainly won't be our last. Highly recommended!

Cold cuts, grilled ricotta, polenta with cracklings, delicious. Two starters: pizzoccheri and nettle gnocchi, and to finish, a sliced ​​beef and pork steak that was never so good.
