Had dinner for New Year's Eve, warm and familiar environment. Had a great meal with truly excellent dishes. Exceptional stewed snails. Excellent desserts. the tavern is located in the middle of the countryside near Sarteano in a wonderful place, one more reason to return in spring/summer to enjoy the landscape.

You can't ask for more. Pure kindness and professionalism. Martino and his wife put their heart into their business and it shows in everything. very refined but at the same time simple environment... the Tuscan farmhouse you expect. Only compliments about the food both for the taste and for the care taken in sourcing the ingredients which are mostly of their own production or selected local production. We were in a camper and were able to park peacefully on flat and cool grounds. Thanks we will be back soon.

Excellent, location near the motorway toll booth, convenient for overnight stops with campers, after a good dinner. Friendly and welcoming staff, very nice and familiar environment.

The Agriosteria Astrone is a real discovery! Authentic atmosphere, warm welcome and impeccable service that immediately makes you feel at home. The rib is simply spectacular, cooked to perfection, tender and tasty, among the best I have ever tasted. Seasonal vegetables are also highly recommended, demonstrating the quality of the raw materials.

A truly beautiful discovery, a few km from the Chiusi-Chianciano exit, they offer traditional cuisine but without giving up a touch of innovation and refinement. Well done!

Very kind and friendly owners, food prepared with exclusively seasonal farm products and with decidedly excellent flavours; what about desserts? Fantastic! Very beautiful location, surrounded by greenery, very good!!!!

Capodanno meraviglia all'agriosteria. Sapori e compagnia fantastici...pappardelle al cinghiale...fettuccine manzo sfilacciato.. grigliata mista..e un ottima crema calda al vin santo con cantucci. Per finire vin brule a mezzanotte con tutti i comuni che illuminavano il cielo...da tornarci

Siamo stati bene! Ristorante aperto per Natale 2024 trovato con difficoltà, con menù alla carta come volevamo noi. Ambiente agreste molto bello e tranquillo, in più abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, proprietari e collaboratori? Gentili e simpatici. Provatelo, vi sentirete come a casa vostra.

25/05/2025: Restaurant nothing short of excellent! Delicious dishes, beautiful and well-kept location. But the compliments go above all to the two waiters (husband and wife); professional, kind and very friendly! A nice discovery, we will definitely be back.
25/05/2025: The owner of the property we are staying recommended La Grotta and I'm glad she did. Every course was excellent from the asparagus flan, guinea fowl ravioli, pork wellington and then finishing with the strawberry pavlova. Wine choices are good too, although we only had a glass and a negroni. Service was excellent throughout. We booked and you probably need to as season moves on. You won't be disappointed.

Locanda Demetra & Montalcino Cooking School

14/05/2025: Vinimos aquí en 2019 para hacer la experiencia de la escuela de cocina y la pasamos de maravilla, el punto culminante de nuestra semana en Italia. Esta fue nuestra primera vez de vuelta - esta vez solo para el almuerzo - y seis años después la experiencia fue igual de buena. El entorno es idílico, con vistas a Montalcino por debajo y en los viñedos distantes. Las mesas ahora están todas afuera, debajo de un dosel (lo que era importante porque el día soleado se convirtió en un aguacero más tarde). La comida era excelente y en porciones que significa que se puede obtener un aperitivo, plato de pasta y un postre sin sentirse demasiado lleno (nos saltamos el “principal” sin embargo). El flan de zanahoria y los entrantes de bruschetta eran magníficos. Para el plato de pasta elegimos el tagliatelle con un ragout de jabalí y los raviolis de parmigiano con ragout de conejo, ambos excelentes. De postre tuvimos un pastel de queso de caramelo y avellana y una panna cotta, ambos muy buenos y muy bien servidos con flores comestibles. El servicio era bueno, atento y amable. El precio era muy razonable para la calidad de la comida servida y la ubicación de ensueño. Fabuloso todo el día.
10/05/2025: Beautiful place. I ate anchovy tartadeli. I don't recommend too many vegetables, weak seasoning.
