Enchanting place...high quality food...everything was delicious, we were spoiled for choice!!!the pici asparagus, pecorino and crunchy raw ham were delicious...the meat tartare was fantastic not to mention the dessert!congratulations !

Looking for delicious Tuscan cuisine in a gorgeous setting with an added bonus of being family friendly? Look no further than Agriosteria Astrone. This restaurant is so special not only for their food but the people who make it. Luciana and her family deliver flavorful dishes made by hand and from the heart. This summer our favorite dish was a spectacular pici dish with cream of asparagus and crispy prosciutto.

Stopped there on 11 May during my road trip around Umbria and Tuscany. The food was delicious, the staff was very helpful and the surroundings were peaceful.

22/06/2024: I visited this restaurant 2 years ago and I was so amazed that I still talk about it and place it among the best places I've ever eaten. And in fact after two years, I find myself reviewing it. The cooked dishes were exceptional both in terms of plating and flavor. The raw materials were of extraordinary quality. The service was very attentive and Alessandro, the host, welcomed and pampered us as if we were at home. If I'm not mistaken it had only recently opened, there were very few reviews and I think Alessandro himself confirmed it... it was a great discovery. I hope to return to Chianciano soon to return to this place!

21/08/2024: More than excellent experience. Starting from the impeccable service, with special attention to detail and the customer's well-being, to the administration of the dishes, well plated as well as sublime. Considerable prices but absolutely in line with the very high quality of the meat. We opted for a starter of Kobe Wagyū meat, a Chianina fillet with Josper sauce, a 1.3 kg Fiorentina, a truffle-flavoured purée, an apple tart with maple syrup and ice cream and a saffron mousse with liquorice inserts and a chocolate crumble. If you happen to hang out in the splendid San Gimignano, consider the stop at Ceppo Toscano obligatory.
