Adelardi In Ferrara

A very nice place, right in the center behind the cathedral, with a wide selection on the menu, from pizza to traditional first courses, meat and fish main courses, and burgers. I recommend the Adelardi trio for those who can't decide on what to order and want to try several dishes at once. The homemade desserts are also delicious. The service and staff could be improved a bit. I understand that on a Sunday lunchtime, with full service, it's difficult to pay 100% attention to all the customers; I have no complaints about that. However, as the place gradually empties, I don't understand this absolute priority for clearing empty tables instead of dedicating time to the customers still seated and who perhaps still need to order dessert and coffee. Having a coffee with empty dessert plates in front of you hasn't happened to me before.

A welcoming restaurant in a great location with a wide selection of menu options. The pizzas are tasty, filling but not heavy. The pumpkin cappellacci with pancetta and balsamic vinegar were also delicious.

We were welcomed by very kind and helpful staff and had the opportunity to eat a delicious pizza.

Was walking around to find a place for dinner and chanced upon this restaurant. Ordered the Cotoletta di lonza di maiale (Pork loin cutlet with baked potatoes) and was surprised by how delicious it was! The pork loin cutlet was crispy on the outside and tender, juicy on the inside and also, the baked potatoes are cooked perfectly. On top of it, the service here is excellent! Highly recommended!

Dining at Osteria degli Adelardi is always a first-class experience. The entire menu is truly excellent. The pizza, in my opinion, is much better here than at many other pizzerias that claim to offer authentic Neapolitan pizza. The Adelardi Pizza, in particular, is a little gem you simply must try at least once in your life.

The dishes were good (especially the pumpkin cappelletti with ragù) but the place smelled a bit, like mold.

Locale ottimo, in pieno centro a Ferrara a pochi passi da piazza Trento e Trieste. Primi buonissimi, saporiti e tipici della cucina emiliana. Ma ciò che veramente ha fatto la differenza è il secondo piatto, lo stinco di maiale. Bagnato con una salsina davvero ottima, la carne era scioglievole e cotta alla perfezione. Ottimi anche i dolci. Consigliatissimo.
