Achar In Milano

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Achar, a hidden gem in Milan offering authentic Nepalese cuisine. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff and the host were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. The food was absolutely outstanding! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I highly recommend trying their momos and dal bhat – both were exceptional. The spices and ingredients tasted so fresh, and it was clear that a lot of care and passion went into every dish. Achar is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the rich and diverse flavors of Nepalese cuisine in Milan. I will definitely be returning soon!

I recently dined at ACHAR Cucina Nepalese on Via Piero della Francesca, and I must say, it was an outstanding culinary experience. I started with the momo, which were perfectly steamed and came with a deliciously spiced dipping sauce. The Nepalese Thali was a standout, presenting a well-balanced platter of flavors including tender lamb curry, aromatic basmati rice, and a selection of fresh vegetables and lentils. What truly sets ACHAR apart is the attention to detail and the quality of ingredients. Each dish is crafted with care, highlighting the unique spices and techniques of Nepalese cooking. The service was impeccable, with the staff being both knowledgeable and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. Amazing meal!! Incredible service and the food was outstanding. We had the momos, the pork and lamb, dal bhat, and both desserts. Every dish was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We were staying nearby and were excited to try a new cuisine after a few weeks of pasta on our trip. The welcome into the restaurant was so warm, the food was very flavourful and the menu was explained to us. The father and son working the evening we went were so kind and conversational with us, we really appreciated being in there company.

The stars (maximum rating for each category) are absolutely deserved. The place is small (for me it's a must) and well looked after, we were welcomed in the best possible way with unparalleled kindness and elegance. Lunch was absolutely exceptional. Another very pleasant discovery and an experience that we will repeat when we return to Lombardy.

Locale piccolo ma molto carino e accogliente. Cucina ottima, servizio veloce..personale cordiale e simpatico. Consigliato.
