Wonderful place, a top-notch lunch, the perfect mix of innovation and tradition. You could see the care and dedication they put into the dishes that arrived at your table. My only complaint was that, even though two desserts included egg, the ingredient wasn't listed among the allergens. When we asked whether egg was actually included, we were told yes, but we didn't include it because it's not legally listed as an allergen. It's a shame, however, that the other desserts listed egg among the allergens... a bit inconsistent. Egg is third on the list of allergens according to European regulations. Maybe it's a small detail, but for those with allergies, it matters.

Located in the heart of Monferrato, it combines refined cuisine with an elegant historic setting, creating a dining experience that feels both thoughtful and well executed. The menu is firmly rooted in local tradition, presented with precision and balance. Freshly made agnolotti stood out for their texture and clarity of flavor, while the main courses highlighted careful technique and respect for raw materials. Wine pairings were particularly well curated, moving seamlessly from a high-quality Metodo Classico to structured yet fresh Barbera, concluding with a well-selected amaro and grappa. Service was professional, attentive, and discreet, with clear knowledge of both dishes and wines. The dining rooms, set within a beautifully decorated historic building, add a distinctive sense of place without distracting from the food. Overall, Accademia Ristorante delivers a polished, regionally focused experience. A memorable surprise and a strong reference point for fine dining in Monferrato.

The only thing missing is a star...luckily. A restaurant nestled in an 18th-century palace with marvelous frescoes. Excellent food quality and exquisite presentation. Courteous and helpful staff. Wide selection of champagnes.
