Beautiful restaurant-pizzeria in the historic center of Modena! The environment is very nice and the service was fast. The pizza is thin and well filled with excellent quality ingredients. The fried gnocco is really delicious. A truly great experience!

In Modena on holiday, we stopped in this place that I didn't know about.... Pleasant and modern environment, welcoming... courteous and kind table service, very friendly waiter.. Here the pizza 🍕 is very good... it goes well with a good blond and fresh 🍺 beer... a place suitable for all age groups, including families. Low and not exaggerated prices. If you are in Modena for a holiday or just passing through, this place is worth a stop... Definitely coming back...

Abbiamo mangiato dei tortellini in brodo super! davvero buonissimi anche se la porzioni era davvero un pò piccolina. Ottimo il servizio e anche il dolce!

Dec24,22, food was reasonable, pricing is ok. Atmosphere is ok. Don’t have the wow factor. They allow fog here.

Ristorante che frequentiamo in centro storico a modena ottimo menu e prezzi , qualità eccelnte . Esiste anche menu fuori carta molto interessante .

14/04/2025: Because of the good reviews, we ended up in the pizzeria, which looked very inconspicuous from the outside, and had a wonderful evening with a really delicious pizza! Nonna stands at the pizza oven and bakes the outstanding pizza! We'd love to come back. :-)

Trattoria la Pomposa al Re Gras

27/04/2025: We were there recently and we ate well, nothing to say. Only one flaw, the tagliatelle made by them, good but the ones I ate were almost all stuck together, at times you could eat them with a single forkful, failed and one star less.
