A Maidda In Lentini

I entered the restaurant “A maidda” by chance because I didn’t know it had reopened and I discovered that you can have the pleasure of eating there only on weekends. The place is suggestive and very romantic! I had the orecchiette scented with fennel… Amazing dish… Impeccable cooking and delicate and tasty fennel cream. The chef who is also the owner of the restaurant is very knowledgeable as well as very kind and friendly and the staff is very kind and very friendly He explained to us that the menu varies according to seasonal products. I also learned that the place offers experiences and culinary journeys of a certain depth. I promised myself to return more often!

We had dinner here on a Saturday night and had a very good meal. Well-prepared traditional local foods, excellent flavors and very inviting combinations. The appetizer is highly recommended. Very friendly staff, particular place with some tables inside a small cave. Absolutely recommended!

We had lunch on Easter Monday, the owner and chef showed us the dishes with local ingredients, dishes different from the usual restaurants such as spaghetti with blood orange and tuna. We had a good lunch, the dishes were all well presented and tasty, if you are in Lentini you can book a table.,

We had the pleasure of tasting a typical local dinner with refined seasonal raw materials. Everything was prepared with fresh ingredients and love, and you could feel the passion for the Sicilian culinary tradition. The chef was friendly, professional and passionate about his work. He explained each dish to us, telling us the story of each ingredient. The staff was friendly, efficient and attentive to our needs. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, with typical decorations that made us feel at home. A culinary experience not to be missed!

Particular place, very characteristic and welcoming. Absolutely delicious food for those who still want to eat fresh dishes that nature offers, with delicate and refined flavours. All freshly cooked with the description and origin of what you eat. And let's not talk about the dessert, a strawberry tiramisu with a unique flavour; and finally the chef's amaro.... An ace up the sleeve. Truly unique place, out of the ordinary.

Spaghetti with oranges is a must, a surprising, fragrant and perfectly balanced dish. The fennel gnocchi and grilled artichokes are also excellent. Typical Sicilian cuisine done properly, with local ingredients and lots of flavour.

Incredible food. Home made, authentic Sicilian, fabulous service and a very cool location with an Ancient Greek passageway. Perfect stop between Catania and Siracusa.
