As tourists, my family and I found ourselves in Lentini and were looking for a restaurant to have lunch at, we happened to pass by there and found a very welcoming place and delicious typical food.
Good value for money.
We were also able to take a mini tour of the place.

I have an advantage because I have seen this restaurant born and evolve over time. I hadn't been there for at least 15 years because I no longer live in Sicily and the times I returned, it was closed. When I realized it was open last week, I immediately booked so I could share a piece of my history with my wife. Salvo opened especially for us and welcomed us in a rustic and refined environment at the same time. His dishes were a return to the past. Scents and flavors mixed with memories and led us towards a captivating gastronomic experience. Salvo explained the dishes to us, their history, their secrets. My wife, who is not Sicilian, was thus able to learn a piece of my tradition. She recommends it to anyone who wants to approach traditional cuisine, to anyone who is aware of the quality of the raw materials, to anyone who would never ask for strawberries in January, to anyone who wants to eat well, once in a while, without rushing.

I happened upon it by chance while walking around the center of Lentini, and spent a wonderful evening there, enjoying rare and exquisite dishes (freshwater shrimp fritters, penne with aubergine cream and mint...). The restaurant is also connected to a series of ancient rock cavities that make the place particularly fascinating. The icing on the cake: the stories of the owner, a great expert on Lentini and its territory. I will return as soon as possible!

Excellent restaurant and pleasant surprise. Exquisite and well-prepared cuisine and dishes made with excellent and really fresh raw materials. Incredible place, with a fantastic tunnel dating back to ancient times. Recommended and open summer and winter
