Curious typical food that is not usually eaten in Spain, but it is totally worth visiting the tavern. Donkey meat ragout, with bigoli. And Gnocchi with horse meat stew. The wine was very good. If you are curious about the bathroom, surprise!

They charge 3€ per person as a fee for service/using cutlery, quite a turn off. The food was nothing beyond, especially with the prices charged it’s a bit disappointing. Simple pasta with fungi and cheese will cost you 16.5€ and a coke 4€.
The toilet is just a hole in the ground.
Unfortunately I see many aspects needing improvement.

The tavern of my dreams!
We ate very well and had a great time. Splendid venue, tastefully furnished and managed with great hospitality. I recommend coming here calmly to read all the writings on the walls and enjoy the environment and the many special furnishings, as well as the good food.
In Verona, obviously, I recommend eating horse meat, but not only.

We didn't make a reservation and had to wait 20 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. There was a divine aroma of wine wafting through the room, so we decided to order the meat with amarone sauce (a typical Verona wine) and polenta. It was perfect! Well worth it! The owner said it was their "flagship" and it lived up to its title. The dessert we ordered, named after the owner, Elena, was also very good. Plus, we were served in English, which was great. One detail is that there is no toilet in the bathroom, just a Turkish septic tank. I think this is incompatible with a restaurant like this. I recommend not using the bathroom.

Went here for lunch, friendly welcome after phone reservation.
Atmosphere and decor is authentic. The cheese/cut Meat platter was a 7/10, 3 choices of Meat and 1 cheese with some pickled vegetables
I had a pasta ragu and my family member pasta with mushrooms. Good al dente and good flavour but very big portion. I would recommend to share if you start with appetizer.
The toilet is of old french design which means no option to sit. Good to know for females wearing trousers.
Amount for lunch was 85€, including everything and 3 aperol spritz. Worth it

Osteria le petorine super consigliata! Partendo dal locale accogliente passando al cibo di qualità eccezionale finendo con il personale ospitale tutto questo permette di sentirti come se fossi a casa.
Chiunque passi per Verona gli suggerisco di entrare da “le petorine”
