If you're in Verona, I think you have to stop by this small but delightful place. It's an osteria that almost feels like it's from another era.
The staff is friendly and cheerful.
Excellent service and a good selection of appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts.
A good, crisp, and crisp house red wine, excellent quality, and generous portions, give me top marks for everything. The price is also certainly attractive.
All the chefs and staff are excellent.

Been here twice. The owner allowed me to practice my Italian and was very nice. Great atmosphere, amazing music and very tasty food. Plenty vegetarian options!

We were lucky to get seated without a reservation. The banks are wooden and quite thin so after a while it gets uncomfortable to sit on it. Other than that the place is nicely decorated.
The food was good, typical local cuisine. Nothing mind blowing but decent and enjoyable.
The service was a little slow but friendly and nice.

A truly lovely, intimate, and welcoming place, right in the historic center. The welcome was excellent, and the lady at the table was kind and smiling. The menu was limited, with limited choice, especially for main courses, but they were well-cooked. The polenta with Amarone stew was delicious, the meat tender and flavorful, and the vitello tonnato (a top-notch meat) was also excellent, with a delicate sauce. Good value for money. Definitely an experience worth repeating and highly recommended.
P.S. We had to leave before the end of dinner because our little girl had fallen asleep, and the lady kindly prepared takeaway for us. It's a shame we didn't get to try the desserts...

Truly a wonderful little place in the heart of Verona! Osteria a le Petarine is a beautiful place, meticulously crafted and incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, making you feel right at home.
We ate wonderfully: fried meatballs (the bomb!), macaroni with tastasal sauce and typical Venetian cheese, bigoli with duck ragù, and polenta with horsemeat pastisada. Everything was delicious, generous portions, and traditional dishes prepared just right.
Friendly staff and perfect service.
Truly one of the best experiences in Verona, highly recommended! ❤️🍷
