The food was delicious, as were the wine pairings, which felt like a personal tour of Sicily and it's islands. The real stars of the show were the staff, we went on a night where it was unusually quiet and they were just so wonderful and delightful as well as incredibly knowledgeable - worth a visit just for them! X

Spectacular food, highly recommended. We ordered the Porta Nuova menu with a three-wine pairing. It could have had one star if they'd taken better care of certain things.
Positive points:
- The food in general, the chef's culinary knowledge is evident. Very surprising and innovative dishes, using modern techniques while maintaining Sicilian tradition.
- They don't get carried away by international cuisine; they cook with local produce, local dishes, and that's their hallmark. This is lacking in many places these days.
- The price is good for what it is, high quality (and quantity, which we practically couldn't manage with the desserts).
- The four appetizers were very special, especially the airy meringue. The secret, kept at low temperature for 24 hours, a luxury.
- The staff was very friendly, the sommelier was very polite and knowledgeable, and the chef came out at the end.
- The wines were very special: from small, family-run Sicilian companies. They support local producers.
Points to improve if they want to earn a star:
- Some details in some dishes: the raw pork was too fatty (the oyster, however, was of very high quality). Perhaps a tartar would have worked better? The truffle didn't taste good to me; perhaps it's the variety, but I didn't like it.
- The menu was mixed, but they focused heavily on fish, which I don't think is so bad considering it's a fishing town.
- Some details in the serving process aren't up to the standard of a star: the order of serving, the way the dishes are held (with your finger inside), the cutlery could be better...
- The place is very simple; if it weren't for the food, you'd say it's an average restaurant and not one that strives to stand out. Perhaps it needs a renovation.
Overall, highly recommended.

I dined at this wonderful restaurant for my birthday. What can I say? It was an excellent experience in every way. Excellent food, I especially enjoyed the appetizers and dessert. The atmosphere was elegant, refined, and understated. The staff were very professional and courteous. I'd like to give an honorable mention to the sommelier who recommended it and helped guide us through the wonderful journey that was the tasting.

C'est un chef qui mérite d'être mis en avant. Un restaurant Michelin avec menu de grande qualité, que ce soit les plats ou les vins. L'option menu dégustation est le choix à faire. Une vrai découverte à un prix plus que raisonnable.
Allez y sans hésiter si vous voulez vivre une expérience pleine d'étoiles.
Ne soyez pas surpris par la décoration du lieu, tout est dans les plats!

The best meal we have had in Palermo. Food was excellent and the service was warm and helpful. The wine list of only Sicilian wines is extensive and reasonably priced.
