A truly delightful evening of fine dining with a seven-course menu and wine pairings.
The service was incredibly warm and attentive, with many thoughtful touches for one of our guests' birthdays.

Honestly one of the best dinners I've had in Palermo. The place is right near the Cathedral, easy to miss if you're not looking for it, but so worth finding. Interior is really nice — elegant but cozy, not pretentious at all.
The food was fantastic. Chef does creative takes on Sicilian classics and every plate looked amazing and tasted even better. Wine list is all Sicilian which I loved, no generic international stuff.
But what really made the evening was the staff. Super friendly, clearly passionate about what they're doing, explained every dish without making it feel like a lecture. Just really warm, genuine hospitality.
Would absolutely go back. Highly recommend if you want something a step above the usual trattoria without the stuffy fine dining vibe.

An address for those seeking deeply rooted tradition with a modern twist. The 7-course "Porta Nuova" menu (€90) impressed us with its consistent focus on local ingredients and the interplay between land and sea.
The "Sicilian Breakfast"—a liaison of squid and lardo from Nebrodi pigs—and the arancina with raw prawns and black truffle particularly showcased the kitchen's creative flair. The Bianca di Valguarnera (Insolia) from Duca di Salaparuta was an excellent accompaniment: its structure and delicate minerality perfectly complemented the complexity of the dishes.
Besides the food, the service was outstanding: the team was exceptionally attentive, warm, and highly professional. The fact that the restaurant is a member of the JRE (Jeunes Restaurateurs) is evident in every detail.
In short: An authentic, top-class experience and an absolute must-try for gourmets in Palermo.

Do you really leave hungry? Spoiler: no.
Last night we went to A'Cuncuma with the usual doubt that accompanies anyone approaching fine dining. The reality was very different.
We chose the tasting menu with fewer courses, and by the end, we were more than satisfied. It's a different way of eating: it's not a trattoria-style portion, but a journey that, step by step, truly fills you up. A gastronomic journey that engages the senses and should be enjoyed slowly.
In summary:
- Satiety: don't be fooled by the aesthetics, by the end of the evening you'll be more than satisfied.
- Memory: it's not just any old dinner; it's an experience that will stay with you forever.
- Price: it's not cheap, but it's a "treat" worth giving yourself at least once.
If you've never been, it's a shame you haven't tried it yet.

Fantastic! Amazing food, extremely competent service, excellent value for money! I can highly recommend it. We had the Le Vie dei Feudi tasting menu and it was incredibly good; you really leave feeling very full!
