Sicily encapsulated in the "A'CUNCUMA" restaurant. A relaxing and harmonious atmosphere. We went here for dinner and chose the "Porta Felice" menu. The title of each tasting menu already evokes a sense of magical Palermo. Each menu, dish, and wine have been selected by chef Gianfilippo and the wonderful Valentina, maître d' and sommelier, to accompany guests on a true food and wine journey through their MAGICAL ISLAND. I ate at this restaurant yesterday. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere was meticulously maintained, as was the service. I really appreciated the chef, who came out to the dining room to ask if everything was okay. The young woman was able to perfectly pair and explain the wines to go with the seafood tasting menu. I can't fault the cheerfulness of the other young man in the dining room, who made everything very special. If I ever return to Palermo, I'll definitely eat here again.

It's hard to find the words to describe this special restaurant. A magical blend of tradition and creativity, with excellent local products and recipes revisited without being overdone. Dishes of unique flavor, truly delicious. A very refined and extensive wine list. Attentive, professional, and very friendly service. The location is elegant, yet understated and very pleasant. An enchanting place.

If you’re looking for an amazing gastronomic experience in Palermo, this is the place! Every dish was exciting and deliciously well balanced. The plates never stopped coming, so bring your appetite! Service was equally amazing, both our server and the sommelier provided great detail and shared excitement. BUon appetito!

The food was wow, like the pasta with seafood really tasted of the sea, prawns sweet and clams salty, I almost burned my tongue cause I eat too fast. Atmosphere kind of elegant but also warm, lights soft, music low, you feel calm, not like those noisy places where you can’t hear yourself. The waiter had this blue shirt, bit wrinkled, but he smiled a lot and told us about a white wine, honestly I don’t even remember the name but it fit so good with the food. Prices, yeah not cheap, but with the way they serve and the flavors I didn’t mind. I saw desserts passing by, big plates, colorful, next time maybe I just order one even if I’m already full.

A wonderful experience with the 8-course tasting menu. We were won over by all the dishes, the revisits of typical Sicilian flavors but also by the choice of ingredients used, many of which are typical Sicilian ingredients! We also loved the friendliness of the staff and the few surprises in addition to the 8 courses. In short, we had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed every moment and every bite. Thank you again!

Un’esperienza gastronomica memorabile. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: puntuale, attento e discreto, capace di valorizzare ogni momento della serata. I piatti, reinterpretazioni raffinate della tradizione, sorprendono per tecnica, equilibrio e creatività, raggiungendo livelli di altissima cucina. La qualità complessiva è decisamente superiore al prezzo richiesto, un dettaglio che rende questo ristorante ancora più straordinario. Quando arriverà la stella Michelin? Se la merita tutta. Un plauso speciale alla sommelier: la selezione dei vini siciliani è frutto di una scelta guidata non solo dall’amore per la terra, ma da una solida competenza. Gli abbinamenti cibo/vino sono stati perfetti, dimostrando una professionalità rara e preziosa.
