The atmosphere is the true calling card of a Neapolitan trattoria: warm, homey, you feel welcomed like at your grandmother's house; the real star is the traditional home cooking, the "poor" kind, yet rich in flavor and prepared with love.
Value for money: Excellent. You eat well, in abundance, and you spend just the right amount for an authentic and genuine culinary experience.

A charming place, with a family atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff. The food is truly made with love and passion. I want to say that the Genovese is truly the best, the best ever, but everything deserves to be tasted and enjoyed. I highly recommend this place, but since it gets very busy, it's always best to make a reservation, even though the owner does everything he can to accommodate guests and ensure they are seated.

First day in Naples, ready to go to a restaurant for lunch, we met up with a friend who recommended this place...
We went inside...
I was at home, the singing and the food were excellent, we socialized with the table next to us, we joked, we laughed, but above all, the food was divine.
The dishes were so generous that you sat down, but it took a while to get up because lunch is important, and I'm only talking about appetizers and first courses, not the second course...
When you walk in, you feel like you're in Naples. The guitar entertainment is provided, it feels like a 1950s diner. It's a beautiful place, and the food is delicious and an honest show...

The interior is decorated in a traditional style, but it's clear that everything is new. It is very clean, though. The service was adequate. We ordered a salad to share as a starter, which was quite good. For our main course, we had pasta al ragù, where the meat is a meatball served with pasta and tomato sauce; acceptable. We also had pasta alla Genovese, which tasted acceptable, but I got very little meat. Besides water, we ordered two glasses of wine, one white and one red. They were served on tap like beer, and they were fizzy. Was it Lambrusco? They were unacceptable. I expected more from this place.

We stumbled upon this place by chance after escaping from another restaurant, and it was a wonderful discovery. Traditional Neapolitan dishes, carefully prepared and tasty. Professional and attentive service. The pasta and potatoes are exceptional. Excellent value.

A great restaurant to take a break from pizza in Naples. The bruschetta was fantastic. The lemon escalope was also delicious, although it came with nothing else. The gnocchi Sorrento was good, but less special. We really enjoyed the dessert, the pastiera. We hadn't tried it before, and it seems to be a local specialty.
A gentleman even serenaded us with his guitar, completing the Neapolitan experience in the Spanish Quarter.

A recommendation from a friend that only half satisfied us, little attention was paid to our table and this meant we didn't order a second course and so after the first course we moved on to dessert and off we went..... will we be back? I don't think so!!
