Ideal if you want to eat here during a boat stop in Lingua. We had four different pasta dishes and desserts, all very tasty and good value for money.

A volte non ci sono descrizioni che rendano l’idea dell’accoglienza, della qualità, del gusto, della cortesia della CANNATA. Un’esperienza che va sublimata nel sapore degli spaghetti al fuoco, dei maccheroni alla CANNATA, del pesce fresco e cucinato con cura e attenzione. Complimenti Santino.

Vengo in questo ristorante tutti gli anni a settembre, è uno dei posti in cui amo di più mangiare. Situato sul lungomare di Lingua offre una splendida vista unita a ottimo cibo preparato con cura: primi piatti appetitosi, indimenticabili la pasta del postino e gli spaghetti al fuoco, pesce freschissimo tra cui pesce spada e pesce capone (lampuga), caponata sfiziosa, melanzane con pesto di capperi, insomma veramente tante cose buone. Al buon cibo si accompagnano la gentilezza del proprietario e dello staff, sempre disponibili e pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza.

Very good restaurant in Lingua with fish and vegetarian dishes. We returned twice during our holiday in Salina. Santino is a wonderful person! He welcomed us very well telling us many stories about the island and gave us the privilege of watching during one of our dinners a documentary he shot on the film "Il Postino" with Massimo Troisi. Exciting. His Football Museum is also something incredible with many historical relics each of which tells a story. A true heritage of the island. We will return!

Excellent restaurant for its location on the sea and excellent cuisine with local products, especially fish, served with kindness and considerable professionalism by Santino and his collaborators. As an added value, the annexed football museum, unique in its kind. A restaurant that I always recommend to my friends and colleagues.

At Santino it's a double experience. A journey into taste even just by tasting the truly excellent pasta they offer. We took some penne with Salina flavors to which we added some tuna and spaghetti with aubergines, swordfish and divine cherry tomatoes. The other side of the journey is listening to Santino who guided us into his kingdom: his football museum which is incredible. With meticulous passion he set up some rooms with t-shirts, boots, balls and gloves used by the champions in their official matches. A gem that embellishes the excellent culinary experience.

17/04/2025: Locale piccolo, molto curato, posto sulla scalinata per giungere al castello di Milazzo. Gestione familiare ma arricchita da tanta passione e professionalità. Chi ama gli stellati ……. venga, invece, a provare, in questo gioiello milazzese, la “vera”cucina tradizionale di pesce (e non solo) siciliana, in particolare milazzese, e capirà che, oltre le stelle, c’è il sole, che dà lustro a questo piccolo angolo di paradiso gastronomico, Antipasti misti sublimi, pescato freschissimo, ottima qualità e quantità di tutti i piatti. Servizio sorridente e professionalmente informale…..come piace a me. Complimenti per l’ottima preparazione delle pietanze e per la gestione della sala. Rapporto qualità/prezzo onestissimo e corretto. Locale per chi apprezza la vera cucina tradizionale di alto livello…..(ormai non se ne trovano più……). Complimenti Ci vedremo sempre più spesso. P.S.la mia cagnolina ringrazia per l’accoglienza…….cosa si vuole di più….?????
25/02/2025: Detta così sembra un opera lirica... ma in realtà si è trattata di un opera "musiculinaria"... A Milazzo per il concerto serale di Carmen Consoli al bellissimo Castello, ho pranzato in questa splendida osteria ai piedi della scalinata che porta alla fortezza. Antipasto con la miglior cruditè di pesce della mia vita: assaggi di pesce pescato in giornata con deliziosa tartare di spada! Ho poi optato per un "classico" siciliano: pasta alla sarde con mollica: delizioso e freschissimo con sardine, pinoli, finocchio e pangrattato. Chiusura con dolce della casa. Tutto squisito: cibo, servizio location... Solo "parole di burro" come ha cantato Carmen in serata...

Antiche Tradizioni

19/06/2025: Bakery that bakes only in the morning, as far as bread is concerned. Instead, for ready-to-eat products, rustici as they call them in Messina or cartocciate in Catania, you can always find them. Ready-made products you can find: Pitoni (stuffed calzone) fried or baked Stuffed baked calzones Pizzette Mozzarella in carrozza Arancini with ragù, speck and pistachio and others. In addition, in the evening they also make classic pizzas or in pala. The pizzas are very good, normal size, abundant toppings, normal prices. You can book them for takeaway by calling them and they are punctual at the agreed time for collection. There is no parking in front of the place but you can use the large space on the other side of the street where there is the distributor. Don't look at the opening hours on Google Maps, they are never respected. It is difficult to find them open before 6 pm in the afternoon.
08/06/2025: On the National Road in front of the petrol station, a nice and kind lady who also speaks fluent German welcomes customers in a small but nice and clean place where they sell what they produce on site: very fragrant and genuine bread, a variety of cakes and biscuits, rustici and pizzas.
